George has faced Bryant countless times in practice. His insight won't go unused tonight.
"If I'm not on him, I'm definitely going to let the guys know some of his tendencies, and what the other guys like to do and what not," he said. "That's what you do when you go to another team."
George did make a promise in regard to Bryant.
"He won't get 62 points this time," he said. "Somebody else might, but it won't be him."

LMAO. what an idiot... I REALLY hope Kobe reads that. If it's one thing Devean Gump should know, it's how much Kobe likes to abuse players who THINK they can stop him...Can't wait for tonight. 8)

George should of learned from Ruben Patterson

-
Damn i thought he was smarter, but he'll be just the last moron in the big list of people who thought they could stop Kobe but failed. Good luck, moron.
-
What a moron.
-
No one can stop Kobe Bryant. George should know that.

Devean is a bitter ass bitch Fuck em Lakers gonna serve that ass 2nite even without Lamar.

Each week we'll enlist the help of a scout or coach and attempt to find some way to stop the league's most unstoppable players.
Preventing a scoring rampage by the L.A Lakers' superstar guard may be as easy as reaching the second half of Game 7. Kobe may make your job easy by trying to prove a point instead of scoring dozens.
But for regular-season situations, we've consulted an assistant coach currently employed by a Western Conference team.
"If his jumper is on, there's not much you can do," the coach said. "But a strategy that's worked for us involves sending a double team as early in the shot clock as possible and then face guard to keep Kobe from getting a return pass.
"It's better if you can influence him toward the sideline before you do this trapping, eliminating the passing options he has if he gets to the middle. If the clock is below 10, we try staying solo, unless he has (Luke) Walton and Smush (Parker) on the floor at the same time. If he kicks it to them and they make shots, we'll live with it."
What happens if Bryant keeps the ball?
"Force him left ... for some reason, he believes you don't have to square your body when going left. He makes off-balance shots going left, but not as many as he does when he's balanced. Just like normal humans."

He's mad that the Lakers improve their bench by getting rid of him and adding Mo Evens 8)

I hope Avery puts George on Kobe.
-
I guess he doesn't realize that guarding a teammate during practice is a lil different that guarding your opponent in a regulation game.
-
maybe he is hinting at the fact that they can just go cheney and send a dude out there to attempt to seriousaly hurt him. that may slow him down....a bit.
-
Devean being a bitch about some stupid shit nobody can stop kobe...what u think raja bell pull kobe down cause he can stop him his to fast so devean need to stop the bullshit..L'UP 8)
can wait till tonight 8)
-
he probably has a point but it's not really going to help, kobe will read the defense and just pull something else out of his bag of tricks
-
Game-high 33 points, 7 rebs, 4 assists, 2 steals, 1 block.
Mavs got the win tho.
-
Lol what a moron... dude played and won 3 titles with him... I think he shouldn't say that publicly ... by respect . then you can't stop Kobe, just hope he's on a bad day..
