Bad Azz, he's quite better then a lot other overrated rappers, tracks like Legendary Life should be recognized    8)

He's a really good rapper technically, but he doesn't have any sort of star appeal, and that's why he's underrated.

Guys like Game can get away with second-rate lyrics because their charisma carries them. It's unfair, but someone like Bad Azz suffers IMO because he has a first class flow and dope rhymes, but he has no charisma - there's nothing about him that makes people sit up and take notice.

i dont hate Game but he's a clown, just like 50 cent, they make average raps and reach popularity with fuckin beefs and statements, while Bad Azz is just doin his thing

I know what you mean. Game and 50 are both competent rappers and both have tore up tracks before (50's verse on Em's 'Never Enough' is still pretty jaw dropping to me). But their level of success is still as much about publicity and media handling as it is mic skills. To their credit, they're both strong enough characters to hold the mainstream's interest.

Bad Azz only has lyrics, and in today's business that doesn't get you attention. Sad but true. Ask Ras Kass - being a dope rhymer doesn't mean you can craft a song and it damn sure doesn't mean you can impress anyone outside of a hip-hop 'inner circle'.

I think Tray Dee belongs on the underrated list too, I never heard a wack verse from dude he ripped everything he was on, Bad Azz is also underrated classic verse on "Crazy" from the Makaveli album...

Tash, only WC can compete with him riding on a beat, he dropped a very good album too with Rap Life but I feel his chance has came and gone now.

hell no i dont like Personal Business except for wrong idea, yeah Word on tha Streets is dope, Money run sucks, but i like Executive Decision, cause he's on his own, i mean no Snoop, no Kurupt -except on S.T.O.P.- with dope beats by a bunch of producers like Meech Wells, and i think he still kill it
