Earlier this year, Jayo Felony released the Jay-Z diss track, "True'd Up". Jayo attacked Jiggaman in the song because he was upset at the reference Jay made to himself saying, "is he Blood or Crip?" Now with Jayo's new album, Crip Hop, he goes at Jigga again and adds Snoop Dogg to the diss list.

In the song, "Catch Em In The Mornin'", Jayo goes at Jigga and the Roc-A-Fella Fam once again with lyrics like,
"Ya'll like what I did? /Helped Beanie and Memphis Bleek over the Coronado Bridge... You can sign Daz and Kurupt and I'ma still bust on your ass... Ya'll betta tell Jay-Z I'll catch him in the mornin'/Loco Records shipping platinum, Roc-A-Fella is gone then/Call up my hood if it's on, it's on then/Ya'll be perpetratin' G's ya'll the wrong men!" The San Diego emcee goes on to call out Amil, Damon Dash and Russell Simmons. He even goes further and calls Beanie Sigel a "fat b*tch".
The beef between Jayo Felony and Snoop Dogg has been talked about the past few months. In short, Jayo feels that Snoop has been biting him lately especially with the term Crip Hop. Jayo says he came up with the term when he recorded a track with E-40 several years ago, but Snoop has a song called "Crip Hop" with Tha Eastsidaz. In the song, "You's a Character", Jayo let his feelings be known.
"You's a muthaf*ckin' character, I'll bury ya/ You scared?... Stay out my area! /Fashion gangbangaz with a point, but can't play the role... You's a character, you fake gangbangin' clown/ Let the homies in, cuz, tear this muthaf*cka down, right now!" Jayo continues on in the track detailing the incident that happened on the movie set of Baby Boy. I guess you have to listen to the song to find out what really happened!

there was an mtv report a few days ago that said Jayo is doing new shit with no disses. basically, Crip Hop was his 'fuck the industry' album.

Jayo Felony wants his story to include a positive ending, which is why he said he's moving beyond the problems that plagued him in 2000 and 2001. His new work, which will include the spring 2002 release of his If the Shoe Fits album, won't contain disses toward Snoop, Jay-Z and others.
"I rolled on them. I spoke my peace, and I'm moving on to bigger and better things," Jayo said. "I ain't even tripping on them anymore. I'm living a positive life and staying away from these haters. If they bite my sh--, I'm taking it as a compliment and keeping it moving."

Snoop's tight with Goldie Loc who is a crip and is tight with his set in the LBC. So there is love for Snoop in his neighborhood. Most of the kids who live down there now and bang were children when Snoop came into this game. They had no sense of Snoop and you all make it seem like they have "Snoop Dogg" Training Camps rolling in his neighborhood. You see the hate for Snoop, but there is so much love too. He can roll there if he wants and that's cool, but he doesn't have the time to roll down there. You all are some foolish people. I'm sure more people in Long Beach hate Jayo Felony than they do Snoop and I get that from a reliable source ... but who gives a fuck... the only reason I'm posting is to expose your stupidity. I could careless if he could go back or not... It's not a warzone down their.... but it's a hell of a lot worse than it is in Hollywood, I wouldn't wanna go back.

i also went to a free basketball camp in the ghetto of long beach, i was the only white kid there, but anyway the dudes there some were younger crips were talking about snoop and how he runs shit and everybody got his back in the hood......i was kinda suprised at how much he is looked up to!

The new Jayo Felony album is garbage. He thought that he could use disses as a way to boost his career. Why anybody would take a page out of a struggling record companies book (Tha Row), and focus an entire on album on disses I will NEVER know. But hey Jayo--If youre so low on material that you have to try to tear down others to boost your own ego, knock yourself out.

anywayz... about the whole Jayo/Snoop thing... I'm probably one of Jayo's biggest fans up in this forum.. but I think he fucked up on this album. He took the wrong approach. Even though Snoop DID bite his "Crip Hop" shit... he should have just focused on his music.. dropped another tight cd, and just stayed away from that petty diss shit... he comes off lookin' like a hater on this cd IMO... hopefully next time he comes to his senses.
