I know that most rap fans who are 20+ always say "damn....what if [Ice Cube] had hopped on [2 of Amerika'z most wanted] with [Snoop and Pac]" and it usually involves deceased rappers who didn't collaborate with another rapper while they were alive.
So for those rappers who are alive and well right now.....if you could put together 3-4 of them, choose the singer or whoever for the chorus and all, and choose who produced the beat, who all would you put together, hoping to make a classic song? Try to mention them in their current form...meaning you can't say "the old Kurupt and the old MC Eiht".
I'd say.....
Snoop, Quik, Game, and Crooked I....Nate on the hook.....Dre on the beat. If not Dre, then Quik.
-
Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Xzibit. Knoc-turn'al on the hook. produced by warren g. I can do a few of these :D
-
lil wayne, bg, juvenile, turk, mannie fresh, all dissing each other if need be. shit would be hot.
-
Snoop Dogg, Lady Of Rage, Ice Cube & MC Ren Over a beat by Dj Premier!!!!
oh shit that reminds me that those 4 were all on a song together,,, damn what a slept on track
-
Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Xzibit. Knoc-turn'al on the hook. produced by warren g. I can do a few of these :D
You got Xzibit and Knoc and Warren on the beat on the song "What We Do," if you haven't heard it yet, go check it out.
My list would be:
Quik, Crooked I, Devin The Dude, Donell Jones on a Quik beat. That would be crazy.
-
Ice Cube, either B.G. Knocc Out or Kam, Crooked I, & Bishop Lamont (representing S.C. L.A., Compton/Watts, the L.B.C., & Carson)
Butch Cassidy on the hook... (I feel he's on fire lately with his hooks even though they're not as noticed as Nate's)
Produced & mixed by Dr. Dre (with Scott Storch, Mel-Man, & Mark Batson playing keys, instruments, & whatever)
-
My dream matchup is still Cube and Snoop over a Dre beat on some gangsta shit. Also Cypress Hill & Westside Connection.
M.OB. reunion
Crooked, Ya Boy and Maylay
-
snoop,scarface,DPG,Dr.dre,eminem,2$hort,spice 1,nas
might work?
-
daz, kurupt, snoop, nate, warren g, dre, rbx
produced by dr dre, co-produced by daz n warren g
-
Ice Cube and The Game produced by Dr. Dre
-
DJ Quik producing a duet between Devin the Dude and James Taylor.
I'm not kidding, I think that shit would be hot.
-
MC Eiht, Ya Boy, King T and Ras Kass on a Quik produced song with the hook by Butch Cassidy 8)
-
Snoop, Cube, The Game & Dr. Dre - prod by Dre with Nate on the hook
-
Scarface, Pac, and Biggie with a beat produced by Mike Dean would be a legendary song
other collabo's I wish I could see
- Tha Dogg Pound and Mobb Deep (circa 1995): two tracks, one produced by Havoc and one produced by Daz
- an NWA track produced by DJ Quik (circa 1990)
-
Ice Cube, either B.G. Knocc Out or Kam, Crooked I, & Bishop Lamont (representing S.C. L.A., Compton/Watts, the L.B.C., & Carson)
That's a good line-up right there, I would like to see Crooked I and Ice Cube get together on a track.
-
Crooked I, Sly Boogy, Joe Budden, Saigon
Produced by Kanye West

-
Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Ghostface, RZA, Cee-Lo, Outkast, & Kool Keith over a Timbaland beat mixed by DJ Premier
-
Kokane, George Clinton and Suga Free produced by Josef Leimberg... My fantasy song is reality, but it hasn't leaked yet.

-
Kurupt, Daz, Warren g, Snoop Dogg with Nate on the hook, Beat by Daz
nothing better, and its been done, would love to see it again
-
Ice Cube, either B.G. Knocc Out or Kam, Crooked I, & Bishop Lamont (representing S.C. L.A., Compton/Watts, the L.B.C., & Carson)
That's a good line-up right there, I would like to see Crooked I and Ice Cube get together on a track.
^Yeah, they'd kill that track...plus, hearing Kam over a Dr. Dre beat is sick...
Here's another one I came up with a group of new West artists:
Roccett, Glasses Malone, Bishop Lamont, & Juice (from Carson, Watts, Carson, & Phoenix, AZ)
Hook by Ne-Yo (from Las Vegas to keep the track entirely West Coast... 8))
Produced by Meech Wells & 1500 Or Nothin' for instruments, back-up singers, & other shit he'd want to add on the track...
-

But yeah Maylay's on fire with his rhymes, Ya Boy is too... 8)

Have Bishop, Glasses, Ya Boy, and Clyde Carson on a track to together have DJ Quik produce and sing the hook and I'm happy.
-
hm.... Nas and Kurupt over a premier track. Nas and Kurupt over a dre track.
Daz and Cube over some quik/Daz.
MC Eiht, Game, Quik, and the remaining members of NWA.
someone mentioned the tried and true combo of 213 plus Tha Dogg Pound..sick...it is the best simple encapsulation of who dpgc is but then again bad azz and soopafly rep dpg just as hard as those cats.
i just realized a 213 plus DPG (let's say Daz, Kurupt, Bad Azz, Soopafly) with Daz doing the hard gangsta ass tracks and warren producing the softer laid back summer g-funk....that album would be sick as shit.

-
Crooked I, Eastwood, Brotha Lynch Hung and Daz with Daz doing the beat and the hook... 8)
-
daz, kurupt, snoop, nate, warren g, dre, rbx
produced by dr dre, co-produced by daz n warren g
sum chronic shit :D
-
Big L, Big Pun, Nas and 2pac on a premo beat.
-
Here's one more I thought of:
Young Maylay, Mitchy Slick, Eastwood, & Clyde Carson...
Have Nate Dogg do the hook...or have a dope sample as the hook...
Prod. by Nottz, Mixed by Dr. Dre...
-
Big L, Big Pun, Nas and 2pac on a premo beat.
3 fiths of those people arent alive.
-

Actually you have Daz and Cube on a track together with Daz doing the beat 2 times but you can never have enough of those 2 on tracks (Strizzap on SSG and Like That on WC's Shadiest One). I like Kurupt, Daz and Nas on Don't Stop but over a Dre beat would be the shit.
-
who did the beat to the nas/dogg pound track?

I like that idea of Mobb Deep and Dogg Pound doing two tracks...with one production by Havoc and Daz....
hmmm My track....
I'd have.....Tash, Soopafly, Bad Azz and maybe a Kurupt, Jayo Felony, Suga Free or someone like this over a Fredwreck Party Beat...Fred makes the dopest partry tracks.....With Butch Cassidy on the hook...
King T, Tray Deee, Snoop, Xzibit and Crooked I....Maybe even Scarface and RBX...over a Meech Wells Gangsta Funk beat...(I say Meech Wells 'cause I like them two Tray Dee track with Snoop on the hook that he produced...Now is the time and Tha G in deee)
hmm a Classy RnB track with Butch Cassidy, Latoiya Williams, Brian McKnight and whoever else that can hold the singing down....
Man I can keep on going forever with the collabos...
-
Scipio, Glasses Malone, Jay Rock, & Bishop Lamont...have a dope Dr. Dre & Scott Storch co-produced beat & have Chevy Jones on the hook...
-
Bad Azz, Tray Deee, Daz & Soopafly (and a beat by Dr. Dre)
I'd love to see Tha Gang doin somethin new 2gether...
