"We've signed one of the best midfielders in the world," said Madrid president Ramon Calderon at the official presentation of the 20-year-old Argentine at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

The former Boca Juniors midfielder cost the Spanish powerhouse €20 million (US$26.3 million), according to the Argentine club.

Marcelo is going to play for Real Madrid B (youth team) till the start of the next season. I don't know about the other two, but it's possible they'll follow the brazilian left back.

I think Gago might be in the first team squad, sat on the bench for the second half of the season. Higuain has no chance of playing much part this year due to the number of strikers they already have at the club, so it would probably make sense for him to play for the B team for the rest of this season.
