Rap is like rock is like weed-Batches

here's a simple thought about detox.

When a rock band or rock artist makes an album typically they write a bunch of songs, learn them themselves and they appoint studio time to work on the tracks for the album. they'll do a session of songs in one place at one point and another session at another place etc etc for about 6 months until they have a handful of good sessions to pick from. say there are three dope ass sessions where they just know they brought it, they take the best few songs from the best few sessions, give it a level of cohesion, and voila: dope album. I like to think that since 2001 dre has just been making a gang of music with a gang of people and when he's ready, he'll mix and match the best shit from the best sessions, give it a level of cohesion and voila, a drama-less detox roster. in other words, it doesn't matter which artists he works with  so much as it matters the chemistry of a session, batches. It's like weed, you have trainwreck and cush and northern lights. alot of people will tell you that cush is better than northern lights but i'll take a bomb batch of northern lights over a bad batch of cush any day. it doesn't matter if the artist is tighter than the other artist, it's what the session produced. i think this would be a good way to put it together too, it would skirt any drama and by such logic ANYONE that dre did work with since 2001(which according to everyone is everyone, from crooked to wc to game to anyone) is fair game for being featured on the album....dude is mad professional, maybe it'll go down like that.
