With the injuries that have befallen the Hawks recently, the expected signing Thursday of veteran big man Slava Medvedenko could add some much needed manpower. The 6-foot-10 Medvedenko, formerly of the Los Angeles Lakers, can score from 15 feet and in the low post. Also, at times he can provide strong rebounding, especially on the offensive glass. However, he has been recovering from back surgery.
LOL. Hawks are gunna need to grab a Snickers waiting for his back to heal...He'll be a good addition to a team like the Hawks though, especially on offense.

Medvedenko could be a pretty decent addition: he can't defend, but he has soft hands and some good moves under the basket.

Did I say especially on offense? LOL...Change that to ONLY on offense.

Instant NBA Title

The Hawks need a big man who can grab rebounds, block shots, and play D. They already have a great guard (Joe Johnson) and a good all around forward (Josh Smith). Even Tyron Lue has been putting up some big numbers this season.

Don't you guys think you're sorta' exaggerating? Dude averaged 8.3 PPG and 5.0 RPG before his injury...
-
Yeah he was a Brian Cook without the 3 point range. Lol.
