I respect you for making a list this year, but I feel like I should have started a big thread this year too just like I did in the past. I just couldn't be bothered this year... But just asking the people just for their number one album of the year indeed makes it easy to compile a top list, but that also means the list poorly represents the peoples opinions. What happens to all the other albums the people appreciated this year? They're simply forgotten in a list like this. Now what if half the people out there thought Chamillionaire's album was the second best album of the year? It wouldn't get a lot of #1 votes but don't you agree it should appear in the top5 if that's the case?

Asking the people for a top LIST and then weighing the outcome... THAT'S when you can say the people have spoken.

So far good looking on the initiative, but your list doesn't really mean a lot this way. +1 for the effort
