To be honest , I didn't see this coming; don't get me wrong he had a great month...I guess Kobe "new( ::)) unselfish game" is shutting the media hate down, a little bit..

lol, at first when you said "new unselfish game" in quotes, i thought you were literally quoting something from the article. i was about to vomit.
anyways, cheers for this. arenas is my favorite non-laker, and kobe is god.

As much as I love Kobe, I think the Western Conference player of the month should've been Steve Nash. That dude was on another level and he really brought out the best in his team.

Who's crying? Can't take a a disagreement? :'(

i agree with Gangstaboogy, after seeing Steve Nash's stats in which most games he would have over 10 assists and have 20+ points a game and led the suns to an amazing month in December
-
I'd say it's about 30% Nash, 30% Amare, 20% Marion, 10% Raja Bell & %10 Boris Diaw at this point for the Suns, if you know what I'm saying...Look at almost all of their wins in the month beating teams under .500... Kobe did what he did without Lamar and they played much tougher teams + that road trip... Lakers have played some exciting games this month (Houston, Houston double OT, Washington double OT, Charlotte TRIPPLE OT, San Antonio, New Jersey, etc.)...PeACe

Well you took the time to come back and reply a second time with both Nash and Kobes' stats, so I'd say you are. You made it pretty clear that you don't like Nash, but he's still a top 5 player in the NBA.

^^Nash is not a top5 player in the league, no chance. He is a top 5 offensive player no doubt but he is a HORRIBLE defender and you have to throw that in the equation. I like Plant and BabyG but you guys never throw defense into the equation.
-
^^Thank you. Some people just know the game, some don't...

Right and wrong. I admit that I tend to overlook defense, but it this case Nash is top 5. He's a leader, he improves every year, he brings out the best in his teammates, he's a team player, everything you could want in a point guard.
And look at his numbers
20.2 ppg (53% shooting, 51.7 in 3pfg), 3.1 rebounds, 11.4 assists
If people can consider Lebron to be number 1, I don't see why Nash can't be atleast top 5.

What don't you understand about the Suns being a balanced team without 1 player in the starting 5 significantally better than another? Then take into account their STAT-INFLATING SYSTEM and NO DEFENSE POLICY, and there's no way Nash beats out Kobe for player of the month in December...PeACe
