Nah, the new Tool and Bob Dylan are both great as fuck. I went to both tours too. Saw Tool in LA at Staples and Bob Dylan at the civic auditorium in San Francisco. Smoked blunts at tool and joints at Dylan. Good ass times.

Don't hate on James Blunt. "Beautiful" is a modern day classic!

Damn I guess Nas was right...hip hop is dead :-[

nah, this is the way it has to be. hip hop that smashes the charts is what we're tying to get away from. artists need to refocus on art. and then when it's hot again, we(the hip hop community) should let the world peep it again and make that scrilla.
i think of it like this: commercial rap customers just want the single with the neptunes beat and the r.kelly hook. they're gonna download 20 different singles from 20 different albums and make a mix and not buy shit. whereas hip hop fans like us will continue to buy records because we wanna support the music. so eventually, the only hip hop selling will be shit supported by music heads because commercial shit just gets downloaded more and more. eventually hip hop will, logically have to cater to the people that are actually buying records: us. Eventually, the bottom will fall out (apparently it's already happening according to this list) and it will cycle itself up again. life happens in cycles.

Please tell me you're being sarcastic.
-
that shit´s not accurate at all. for example, those BEP numbers that are on there are just what they sold in the US. it´s the same with Eminem´s greatest hits.
