Fuckin around on youtube and watched these classics. If you don't like this, I don't like you ;D. For real though, anybody like any of this shit? Bump this shit, I promise its dope. Peace
Tears For Fears - "Head Over Heels". Goddamn I wish yall could hear this in CDQ. Incredible song, incredible group. PHAT Bassline and sick synthesizer.

Huey Lewis & The News - "Heart and Soul" Ill usage of the keyboard and nice guitars. Great vocals and fantastic chorus (hook).

Lenny Kravitz - "It Ain't Over Till Its Over" I love the violins on here. Just sick. A real ass song.

^^^In Square Circle is a classic album. Written, Produced, Arranged, and Mixed by Stevie. I wonder what his wife was thinking when he wrote that song?

Tears For Fears were sick!
I never listened to Huey Lewis & The News but that track you posted is great
If you like that type of music check out The Eurythmics.

Props man. I have their greatest hits on one of my burned cd's but I didn't label it so god only knows which one of my books it's in.

That Lenny Kravitz song is great without a doubt.
At least two hip hop acts have sampled the paino riff from that Tears For Fears song, Diddy used it for the intro on one of his albums and Cash Money and Marvelous also used it for their classic Ugly People Be Quiet...

you asked what we know, here's what I know.
I love Tears for Fears, but mainly for "Everybody wants to rule the world".
Huey Lewis and the News were fucking awesome. That guy's voice is great, every single they had was great. My favorite is "Stuck with You".
Lenny Kravitz was married to Lisa Bonet (the girl who played Denise on the Cosby Show).... they were all head over heals in bohemian love, and he went on tour to Japan to play some shows. While he was over there, he cheated on her frequently, then came home and she found out about it. She left him not able to put up with a man treating her that way, and it was a really bad breakup. After the breakup, Lenny writes that song for her, "It ain't over till it's over". Unfortuantely for him, though, apparently it was over because she never would even date him again. Kind of a sad song if you know that aspect of it....

Check this one. This is a happy, feel good song which I absolutely love. The "gimmick" of the group sucks ass but this song is dope.
One of the nickelodeon (that double-piano) players (the right one to be exact - Phil Pickett) went on to work with Culture Club and co-wrote "Karma Chameleon"...

it's funny how lenny kravitz didn't fit a genre in the U.S so he didn't blow up in the U.S until he made it big in Europe.
