First week for "The Great Depression": 439,957 units sold for the #1 spot on Billboard. That's a very far cry from the 700,000 units "And Then There Was X..." sold in its first week. Hataz wiil probably be happy but the album is still a BANGER... and will be at least Double Platinum... Wanna bet?
-
I don't give a shit on how many units he sold, I STILL HATE HIM!
-
dmx doubble ... fo shyzzy
snoop start below the 400 000 units n he's higher then doubble
-
d will hold down number one for sure next week too...most people don't know that the cd's out yet...word gets around quick though...with two singles out right now people are gonna wanna buy that shit, peace.

TRUE... And the economic recession is slowing things down too... Even TIMBALAND complains about it on Billboard.com; DMX will sell big time though...
-

Snoop ain't officially DOUBLE yet, son... Last time I checked Snoop's "Tha Last Meal" was Platinum and that's it...
-
first father , i know what i'm talkin bout he didn't update on BILLBOARD.COM THAT'S IT..... n even if it wasn't confirmed by snoop u should already know that a snoop album is minimux multi-platinum..... u should father ;)
-
Snoop has been 2xPlat for a while now...And Dmx ain't gonna be #1 for long...Make way for the King Of Pop to debut at #1 next week...
-
i'm givin props to DMX for gettin to #1.. i dont listen to his music match but i'm not gonna hate or nothin
-
That's Excellent First Week Sales, Don't Hate. That's Half A Million copies Of A Record... Almost Gold Out The Gate.

LOL... Stop callin me father, man... "Son" is a Brooklyn thing, that's all... But u may be right about Snoop sales though...
-
lol i know , lol n fo the sale , i'm 100% positive fo that ;D

439,957 units sold is an impressive number--and I cant hate on DMX. However, I see the album dropping at a very rapid pace. As far as Michael Jackson goes-I see him being at 1 next week with numbers far below the predicted 1,000,000 mark and I see the album dropping --FAST.
-
it's really about quality not quantity so i could care less how many albums he sold...his album is still trash IMO
-
I'll start hating now. It's because of good marketing. Not becuase of talent.

No Way In Hell He'll Be #1 Next Week... Or The Next. You've Got New Michael Jackson, Backstreet Boys Greatest Hits, And Then The Next Week Britney Spear's Album That'll All Step On DMX.
-
The Great Depression is much better than "And Then There Was X". To be honest with you, the only reason And Then There Was X sold so much in the first week is cause it came out the week before X-mas. Had it came out in October, like The Great Depression did, it woulda sold 500,000 at the most, which is still very good, but his sales were clearly helped by the holiday season that year.......

we can't really talk bout sale right now caue usa got affect economicly so people buying less n shits so , plus mj comming out , back streets boys ,hmm dawm, i mean it was the same fo snoop when his album came in , he was behind the beatles so , no competions there hen
