Title: Question about ringtones & cellys
Post by: jeromechickenbone on January 15, 2007, 02:27:33 PM
I have been wondering how to do this forever...How the fuck do I put ringtones on my phone?  I don't wanna pay to DL through my phone.  Is there any good websites that have free ringtones?  But I still have no idea how to get them onto my phone anyway, lol.  If anybody's got some pointers I'd greatly appreciate it. Peace.

Probably cause you are being an unprofessional nigger. You fucking niggers have no idea what it means to be a professional. Start taking life a little more seriously or be poor for the rest of your life.

My friend uses funformobile.com to upload his ringtones. I'm not sure how to use the site but I know it's completely free.

I use freeringers.net even though it's not free. It's only a one time $8 fee but I didn't find the site my friend uses till after I signed up.

Dude...here's what you do...

http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/index.php (http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/index.php)

the link says sprint but it works with all carriers...upload it using that site and they will send you a text with a link to download the ringtone within about 10 seconds...then your done

really easy...and you can make some bad ass ringtones...i change the ringers on my phone every few days just by doing that

the other thing you have to remember is making your own ringtones is a little different than downloading them from your carrier...the carrier compresses them differently which makes the files a lot smaller...generally about 70kb....an average ringtone (depending on bitrate...i use 192kbs) is about 400kb...the difference is using 192kbs you won't notice any loss of sound quality where as when you pay for them they usually sound like shit and you don't usually get the part of the song you want
