Will get the mp3 link soon, Im not on my pc at the moment.
Supposed to be the 1st single. Its no Ridin Dirty but still a cool joint. Hes definetly going for the big numbers.
Like I predicted, Cham is already getting hate for this song on some forums.

haters can suck a dick. Cham proved everyone that he's a real lyricist comin from the south, besides that he's flow and voice are amazing. Sound Of Revenge surely deserved more sells, since I know his numbers were somewhere next to Jeezy and Mike Jones...Don't know what to say about Jeezy cause a lotta people might be trippin, but I do think Chamillionaire is waaay better than both of them. He really deserves the top spot, people will recognize it this year. Sells will reveal it
-
I completley agree.
Despite that I predict Cham being the most hated rapper in 07 if he blows up(which he probably will).
All these internet gangstaz just need a pop-ish tune like this to blow up.
-
its alright. not much else to say about it
-
i like it
this should do good as a single
-
cheesy track but will deff be popular
-
The song's aiight, I'm not really feling it as a first single. I know Cham is capable of doing way better tracks that one, he proved it on the Mixtape Messiah 2 (Best Mixtape out right now IMO). Eitherway, I'm hella looking foward 2 his next album. Fuck all the Cham haters.
-
This is fuckin hot. I'm glad Kelis brought one of her producers...
-
4/5
-
i like the drums :) nice first single track
-
Thanx for the track I'm feeling it, should do well as a single I think.
-
Sounds like a generic banger to me, and this isn't hate but Cham is the new 5-0

lol@ridin bein horrible, that was straight bangin....
now about this....this aint all that, sounds kinda like a 50 cent joint....i dunno mang.....depends on how high the standards are for his album....if the album is going to be very good, this should be either a leftover or a album track, should not be a single anyway, in my opinion....grown n sexy shittin all over this

like i admitted when i said it, I'm very unfamiliar with chamillionaire. I've been in some situations where the song was playing and I remember not enjoying it. but i've never really listened to the rapping, is there anyone else on the song with him?
i'm down to give it a listen, if someone would hook that and like one other example of him rippin' some shit up, I'll download that shit when I get home from work tonight.

finally listened to song, with headphones at that. good rap, horrible production. this krayzie bone, with him?
god the synth string punches are insanely tacky on this song. hook is ok. guitar line is real subtle but it's cool. i think the song would be cool if not for the synth string. who the fuck produced this shit? the drums are almost okay. I like listening to dre because it feels like all the music is real. real bass guitar, a real guitar, some real drums, a real electric piano. That shit sounds organic...it's not hard, if a million broke white trash groups can get a bass guitar into the studio, so can anyone. There's no excuse for synthesizers when they're not needed. say you're gonna do something like jay z's 'trouble'....that kind of musical idea is cool with synth, but this cham song would have benefited greatly from real strings, real drums, a real guitar, a real bass...you feel me? and it sounds like a lot to ask but nah, it ain't. even the whackest simplest rock bands can get a band into the studio. shit is lazy.
cham's a cool rapper but i don't care for 1)his voice (not that it's bad, i'm, just not feeling it)
2) subject matter (yawn)
3)Production
and don't give me that bump it in the ride shit, anyone can program really deep ass bass. I'd rather a good tune.

yea, this song aint all that...it wasnt even no point to have Kelis on there.
-
oh i didn't even listen to the Kelis song. You guys were sayng it was whack. and if i think the songs that you guys were saying were dope are whack (ridin dirty= vomit) then I'm sure this one's whack as fuck.

Big Chamillionaire fan, but this song is cheesy as fuck. IF this is the direction the new album is going in, count me out. And I was a fan of all the crossover shit he was doing on the last album too.
-
I like this song
-
Just listened. One thing that really seperates Cham from lots of other mainstream lyricists out there is his flow. He's not lazy, he can really ride a beat pretty aggressively. He's actually puttin in work behind the mic. Plus he's not just hitting you over the head over and over again with corny ass punchlines over and over. So from that aspect, I'd much rather hear him rhyme than most other cats that I'd see if I still watched MTV / BET.
They're obviously going for a "Club Banger" (god a fucking hate that term) which is predictable. The beat is pretty generic and I feel like I've heard it about 100 times already. Extremely catchy hook, but too sing songy for my taste.
Who produced this? Scott Storch?
Props for the hookup Detox.
