why weren't battlecat or meech on BCT? and why doesn't snoop ever shout out tray deee? That's his fucking homey in prison and how much money will snoop make off the memorial songs when dude dies?

Battlecat was on BCT, he produced two tracks: "Intrology" and "LAX".
But Snoop and Meech really need to record a new song together. 8)
-
oooooh yeah, he did do lax COMPLETELY forgot about that shit. stopped bumping BCT a couple weeks ago.

i imagine meech and snoop not having done anything has something to do with when meech/e white were doing their own thing? why did meech and e white leave? i saw some dubcnn interviews that said something about them reuniting and shit. I have no idea what happened....anyone?

Cat dropped the best beat on the album with Intrology...

Snoop shouts out Tray Deee on My Peoples

I hate it when dope beats are wasted , Snoop did this before when he wasted the best beat on an intro, I think it was the Paid tha Cost album
-
Yea Snoop wasted the beat for "The Boss Would Like to C You" that beat was so hard, damn! But the Intro to TBCT is fire IMO! That shit is sick, great way to start off the album, followed by "Think About It" and "Crazy" damn, the album could have easily been classic with only 15 tracks on it.
-
yeah there are enough quality cuts on the cd and several really dull ones. i cant stop bumping round here at the moment, that track has some serious bass.

Real talk.
Snoop blatantly talks about this in the interview with Nima when he says something to the effect of:
"Yeah Dre will only fuck with your A game. I'll fuck with you at a B or a C game to help bring your game up to the A game so that Dre can fuck with you." so he'll collaborate with all of the people he wants to collaborate with, people he'd be financially wise to collaborate with, people that want to collaborate with him, people he's putting on (his label roster), homies etc." whereas a mothafucka liek Dre will only put who's musically on their A game on a more concise album...but Dre kinda showed you he could make a 22 track album classic....come to think of it, detox doesn't need to be double....just make an instrumental version too and I'll be straight....yeah detox should be 15 tracks...damn, I always think about detox when I'm blasted.

Ya'll are a lil off. BattleCat produced three songs on BCT: Intrology, LAX, and he co-produced A Bitch I knew.
-
yes, we dicussed that throughout the course of the thread.
-T
-
Intro was dope but LAX beat was lacking, not one of Battlecat's best
-

You kno "Round Here" don't that track have the same guitar melody as Em's "Stan"..or is it just me???
Nice track Anyways..Dre went a different route with that there..

The beat for "A Bitch I Knew" is fuckin crazy! I love that track
-
LAX is hot.In this songs there are a lot of sounds typicall Battleca style , not his best but the beat is HOT
-
LAX is one of the weaker traccs on the cd. its a cool tracc, but theres alot of traccs are better
-
nah like this is a weak track, even don't stop is kind of whack...but LAX? Nah, shit is cool. mad westy, also I heard biggie's goin back to cali for the first time in years so I didn't know until today that the 'o cali?' shit was biggie. that makes me appreciate it even more. snoop and cube come very good sonically too. -T
-
Well I'll be hoenst, it took me awhile for me to listen to that song...
But i like listening to it...now..
It's not a funky thumping track by Battlecat..but it takes awhile to feel it...
Im really feeling that Conversating With God beat..by Stevie Wonder...Dang!!..The beat just expands ..!!! nice concept!!

Yeah it is sampled from Stan which was sampled from that Dido song. But when Dre drops those keys in during the chorus that gives the track a more sinister sound.
