Title: IRC HELP......IDENT???

I hardly ever use IRC....but ive been tryin 2 learn 4 a while....
ive had this problem b4 when i went on the CALI RAP channel......

but i tried 2 go 2 yalls room and it tol me i needed IDENT 2 access.....
can sum1 link me where 2 get it
and info if itll work on a MAC?

ohh i dunno anyone that uses IRC on mac.  :(

i guess it can be done.

try some different irc clients.. see if any of them make it easier.

IDENT  is the way your computer identifies itself when u log on and IRC network.

on the PC most people use mIRC and it automagically does the IDENT stuff for u.

i would be very surprised if one of the MAC clients out there didnt provide the same facility.
