Damn, everyone who has heard him on Warren's new cd knows he is really, REALLY dope. With his charisma, flow, and original lyrics, and with the G-Child's beats, i have a feeling Grimm could blow up on the solo.....what do y'all think?
-
maybe..
-
i hope so!! i think if warren ame tight on production and got some big names like snoop, nate ect to guest then he could maybee if nate busted out a tight chorus on the first single then maybee.........even if he don't blow up i just wanna hear an album produced by warren i know i'd love it at least!
-
i like how he rhymed ferocious with osteo peroisis
-
Could he? Yes
Will he? Most likely not....
-
no.. well define blow up
-
nah i dont really feel mista grimm... warren is havin a hard time blowin up i wouldnt wanna see production sacrifived on a mr grimm lp it coulda gone to warren or nate
-
i like the way some of you think hes a new artist.
if he was gonna blow up, he would've done so by now. but he's straight LA underground. he does need to drop an album tho, one that actually makes it into stores this time.
-
I liked hearin him better on the D.J. Pooh shit. Pooh's beats seem to fit him better than Warren's. Mista Grimm would have blown up back in '94 if he never woulda had that fallout with Warren, but he's still one of my favorite lyricists.
-
Indo Smoke was the shiznit!! ;D
-
Mr. Loc, i ain't never said he was a new artist. What I am saying is, do you think Mr. Grimm will finally get his props and blow up on the solo tip. I was listenin to Grimm when the Poetic Justice soundtrack came out and i bought the Higher Learning Soundtrack just for his song, so i know he ain;t new. I don't think anyone in here actually said he was some new jack.....PEACE

yea i agree. everyone should cop that DJ Pooh cd Bad Newz Travels Fast, Grimm's on about 4 songs.
teecee: all good player, i see you know your shit.
-
Mr. Loc, its all good, i just don't want you or anyone thinkin i am some 14 year old new jack who just got down, ya know? Peace dogg
And ya, Grimm comes nice on Bad News Travels Fast, i was hyped when that came out cuz i hadn't heard from Grimm in a minute
-
I think he would blow up with the right production and promotion. You gotta give it to him, he sounds really nice on Warrens new album.
Heres the original thread that I started on this topic. It includes a list tracks Mista Grimm can be found on. Props to teecee for the reply.

yeah mr loc i remember mr grimm from back in the day i just think if warren could sell well it will get grimm exposure and then maybee he'llblow the fuck up...probably not though oh well!
-
i dunno i doubt it, i havn't heard the new warren g cd yet, i've only heard his older stuff, but from that i'd have to say no, i dunno my opinion might change when i hear his stuff on warren's cd
-
Mista Grimm alreay has blown up...
"Indo Smoke" was a big hit back in the day, and that's when he got his props, but he was a 1 hit wonder...
-
personally i think he could if he had the right promo/production/singles.....
he's definitely a talented cat.. but just ask Ras Kass what that means today (nothing)... however he does have the right hookup with Warren so who knows...
I wouldn't consider Warren giving Grimm beats instead of Nate a waste...if Nate wanted some shit for his new LP he could've got at Warren.. but Warren doesnt do any tracks :\
