Daniel J. Joyner was charged with two counts of engaging in sexual conduct with an animal, class four felonies, and a third count of criminal damage to property by injuring the female pitbull/boxer mixed breed dog. Joyner alledgedly placed a bottle in the anus of the dog for the purpose of arousal, then placed his penis in the anus of the doc for the purpose of sexual arousal.

Joyner eluded police for several days, then showed up for bond call over the weekend and was charged with the felonies.

Bail is set for $50,000. If convicted, Joyner faces a sentence from one to three years and a fine of up to $25,000 on each charge, or probation. The court date is currently set for July 29, 2004.
