According to three NBA executives, the Pacers are now in talks to move Mike Dunleavy to the Clippers for dynamic swingman Corey Maggette. Indiana has been after Maggette since last season when they were looking to trade Ron Artest.

An unsubstantiated internet rumor about Kevin Garnett and the Knicks highlights a package of Channing Frye, Nate Robinson, Jamal Crawford and a 2008 first-round pick. However, a league official said the Knicks have been quiet on the trade front recently.

Eddie Jones would like to follow the same blueprint as Chris Webber: Escape from a team that has a shot at the No. 1 overall draft pick to an organization that can contend for an NBA title. Jones, now playing for the Grizzlies, admitted last night that there was a chance he could be waived.
-- Philadelphia Inquirer
The Cavs are likely to attempt to make some sort of move before the Feb. 22 trade deadline, although it is hard to forecast how major it could be. They are on the lookout for a point guard, but don't want to damage the stability being built in their core. The team may have some interest in guard Sarunas Jasikevicius, who was traded from the Pacers to the Warriors.
-- Akron Beacon Journal
Jason Kidd is satisfied with playing point guard for the Nets. He has no interest in playing general manager, too. While a report said that the Nets recently offered Kidd to another team, a league source said that the Nets aren't necessarily trying to trade their point guard, but rather they're just keeping all options open.

When Shaquille O'Neal returns, which could be as soon as tonight against the Pacers, he'll still dunk rather than shoot from deep, still force his way into the lane instead of fade away to the baseline. But there also will be an attempt to display other parts of his game to smoothly work his way back into the mix with a Heat team that has played its best recently. O'Neal just wants to fit in.
-- Miami Herald
Al Harrington, dealt Wednesday to Golden State in an eight-player shake-up, shared former Pacers forward Ron Artest's sentiment in saying he didn't feel comfortable playing in Rick Carlisle's regimented system.
-- Indianapolis Star
Pacers chief executive Donnie Walsh was far more reluctant to let Al Harrington go. But after re-signing with his former team last summer, Harrington was not meshing offensively with the Pacers' franchise player, Jermaine O'Neal.

Hell yeah he was one of my favorites.
-
I wouldnt mind seeing the Pacers make that trade for Corey but I will be fine if we keep Dunleavy instead.

I'm ready with both hands on my dick. ;D
-
As much as it would be great to see Eddie Jones in a Laker jersey again, I honestly feel there is no current use for him, so I'd sadly have to decline that pick-up... :-\
Maggette for Dunleavy is a good trade, especially for the Pacers...I guess coach really wants his son...LOL.
-
I had a feeling the Pacers weren't done dealing. This is the exact trade I had in mind too. Crazy, we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
-
I wouldn't mind seein' Eddie in L.A. again tho...
but as a Clipper. 8)
as far as Maggette goes, it's time to make a change with that dude, he's a good player and all
but it's time for a switch, a three point shooter would fit in perfect in the mix somewhere in ClipperNation

^ You're a Clipper fan?

LMFAO...The way you think is priceless.

JO isnt going anywhere. If we were going to trade him we would of kept Harrington.

So a team with Jermaine O'neal, Carmello Anthony, and Allen Iverson wouldn't win a championship? Oh wait...throw in Smush Parker. Now are they title contenders?

Wow. This is pathetic. AHAHAHA. I honestly think your mind is (sadly) too simple to understand what it takes to build a championship team in the NBA. You think putting a bunch of superstars on one team midway through the season and telling them to go to work makes you a lock for champions. It's hilarious, man...LOL. I'm not about to discuss this on a serious tip...
