I started school this week and have already dropped $350 on books, damn...
-
get used to it, the higher your learning the more you pay. and that goes tward your higher education aswell
-
I start Monday. I'll buy everything last minute.
-
Thats unreasonable. Thats one of the reasons why people only go to college/university to party if they're not in sports. Don't even debate that because its true. You shouldn't have to pay to learn.
-
fuck college
i'll just make 10$ an hour making pizza
-
some time ppl at school sale u used book and u dont have to pay all that shit.

this is my last semester , i'm graduating soon. i tried to find ways around it but i don't know anyone that took the classes that i'm taking now. i'm trying to sell my books from last semester because i know if i sell them back to the bookstore they'll only fuck me and give me 20% of what i paid for a hardly used book and then turn around and sell it for more...

$240 for me. >:(..........its a good thing financial aid covered my ass though. 8)

Only taking two classes, Basketball and Astronomy - $100 for 5 Units! No books, my homie is giving me his! BOOYA!
-
I don't recommend ever buying all the books at once. I used to do that, but sometimes i'd never open the book all of the quarter and sold it back for like 25-40% of the money that i had paid for it. Make sure you need the book be4 u buy it, and if you don't buy it but you REALLY need it, there's usually a couple copies at the library on reserve. I've probably saved 200$ last year on not buying books that were written in the syllabus. I've also probably spent 200$ too much on books that i never used.

Over $100 for TI-89 >:(

What you you do? Learn the sport and actually play it?

iv spent about 400 this year (2 semesters) on new books, the campus store was out of used ones...
and whoever said it before was right....dont buy them until you're 100% sure you need it, my first year i thought i was being smart and bought all the "required" and "recommended" books on the syllabus.........didnt end up using half of them, just use the library copies if you can ...or find a buddy in the class and borrow his sometimes and take good notes...
and lol at taking classes on surfing, i wish i went to school in hawaii or australia
-
It's been a while since school.
Dont think I could do it anymore.
