And Also Henney & Bud. (these are newish songs cuz the classic's go without saying, for instance Nuttin but... and Who am I)

I'd Say Lyrically, I Like Stranded On Death Row The Best.

"Hey Yo, Steppin Through The Smog And Creepin Through The Fog, It's That Numba 1 Nigga From The Hood, Doggy Dogg"

Doggystyle:  shiznit/gz and hustlas
Doggfather: 2001/doggfather
Da Game:  g thang/snoop world
Top Dogg:  betta days/gangsta ride
Last Meal:  henn n budd/issues

Overall:  Tie between  2001/gangsta ride

from gangsta ride

" boom bam as I step in the jam/ god damn/ I dont need an introduction cause you know who i am/ the s n double o p/ the only fo sho/so come on, let me hear you say ho/ i spit ya/ spat at ya/ whoom wham get at ya/rider i threw a slider right at ya/ dashing, dipping, dish dosh the hatchet/sitting here clappin, while im steady rapping/

in my opinion:

deep cover REMIX
nuthin but a g thang
pump pump
g'z and hustlaz
serial killa
woof (his verse was fucking tight)
smooth

and i'm probably the only one who thinks this but i thought "snoop dogg (what's my name part 2) " was some tight lyirical stuff

first off, i wasnt hating, it's just that upon comparing this to the Kurupt - Best Lyricism topic, you can see that Snoop is no where near his level. all the songs that are listed here are tight, its just that the lyrics arent all that (meaning and wordplay etc...)

now about your Mac reference, i highly doubt that you've heard any much of his material. And i'm also pretty sure that you're just hating (like most other rap fans) on him because he is on No Limit, or because he has a flashy "NL-stlye" cover (or both). Now i know that alot of people do that, but i dont really care, because if you really took time to listen to Mac, you'll realize that he's one of the most gifted people in Rap. Ask around, you'll see Mac's different

Alex... I agree and disagree... Snoop may not have the best "lyricism" , but his "meaning" is top notch... thats one reason i like his music so much

yeah he don't have to rap about bling bling n catfights to b a great lyricist , not the best but he's not bad some are just funny but other like "ya'll gonna miss me" or ready 2 ryde n those two track are from the last meal only , he got many many mores pleezbaleevme

I don't agree man.  His shit on "Dogg Food" was tight @ times and then so-so.  Kurupt on "Lyrical Gangbang," "Stranded On Death Row," "Doggy Dogg World" and "G'z And Hustlaz" was too gangsta.  He was so ill back than, you could make an agrument that Kurupt fell off just as much as Snoop from one album.  "Space Boogie" was weak lyrically, it was aimed for the mainstream.

Kurupt fell off more than Snoop no doubt

And yeah it's always arguable - I mean his Ain't No Fun verse is one of the all timers

But just listen to Doggz Day Afternoon, Smooth and Do What I Feel - they are incredible performances

nawwwwwwwww nobody fell off man , people are just used to them shit , not me  n some other who can appreciate them work they do n don't want em to create some new shit every dawm song.... snoop n kurupt are so good that some nigga can't even touch em ,, nd they know that ,snoop just have to pull out something with his name on n pfffff platinum ,,,snoop ask em some confrontation cause nobody gonna say something but snoop , even jay-z who now think he's god , back in the money cash hoe track he said by himself that the east being silent when snoop came n crush the building , that was back in the doggfather time , and everyone up in here think this album was bullshit, u all said people fell off cause u get too hype fo some shit then u know it onsite then listen it one more time didn't make u a shit , i'm still listening the old missy one the old warren g one , no they didn't fell they just change cause if they had fell they wouldn't be there no more,, like vanilla ici or mc hammer , people was getting sick of them shit so they take a distance .... hope u realize that snoop n kurupt won't fell off til they retire n thats just the way it is...thing ain't never gonna change , just the style .. but they can switch it back real quick thats why they be putting out single , to taste public feelings if they like it they do similar songs, n back in the days  (chronic) people luv snoop cause he was dissin ez e n ice cube not off his flow , yeah his flow is great but that nigga got some tight lyrics too if not people wouldn't listen that shit ,, look like nelly or petey pablo ,,, they look like snoop in his younger days  but you'll see how people will get sick ,, see how people start to dislike eminem..... thats just the begining , after all they gonna start back to fell in luv with him , just like ya'll doing right now with snoop ( talkin bout new snoop tracks thats snoop pull out when he was in no limit ,  the same time people says he was shit ) just to make u think about what ya'll sayin is straight bullshit , i don't n won't get caught in thoses kind of shit , i'm staying true n believe what i wanna believe . ya'll should o the same n not listen what other bullshit people said  ;D

Snoop switched styles to something different - most people didn't like his new styles as much as his og styles so they say he fell off

Kurupt fell off of that there is no doubt
