I actually downloaded these albums both about a week before they came out, and didn't end up buying the actual CDs until two years ago...but I still play both of them.
Which one do you think is better? I liked the debut as soon as I heard it, nearly from start to finish. As for Duces n trays, I only liked half of it the first time I heard it...but it seemed like it got better to me every single day. I remember my homeboys hated it at first...especially "Everywhere I go"...but after about a week, that's all they wanted to listen to. The albums do have a different feel to them, although there are a lotta songs that could have fit on either CD. Goldie Loc did improve after that first CD, and I always thought his flow n delivery was better than Tray's even though his lyrics weren't.
I probably have to listen to both CDs to really compare....I played the first one a few times this weekend though. As of right now....I might say that the debut is a little bit better, but not by much.

i like the Eastsidaz one a little bit better I Think cuz in the ride that CD fucking really bumps but they were both good.

2 great records but I like the first album because of the vibe, and the era back in late 1999, G'd up came out and it was crazy ...The Dogghouse jackets, the whole west being together and stuff, Rappin 4 tay , Tha Twinz, Dr.Dre on the Intro, Meech with now we lay em down, Kam & Pretty tony On be Thankul , man this album is just great u can tell they put all of their hearts on this records!!

The first one is amazing (was just bumping "Got Beef" on the way in to work).
The second is pretty much horrible all the way through.

The first album is a westcoast classic. You cant beat that album. "G'd Up" >>>>Any track from Ducesn Trayz
Duces and Trayz was dope, but not on the same level as the first album IMO

Hard to say. The 1st one is on some hardcore gangsta shit and the 2nd is smooth as fuck. I probably give the edge to the first one, although at times it sounded like a compilation.

1st one but its close, im not expecting anything from warzone or westurn union close to the level of those two. all 6 of them are nuts, but i just don't see it happening with those shitty niggarachi and thx beats.
everywhere i go sucks also, i can co-sign with that.

Yeah I am not feeling Niggarachi's beats. Put Fred Wreck, Goldie Loc and Battlecat on they shit. I think Westurn Union will be fine because they got Soopa, but Fred Wreck, Meech Wells and a couple thx and niggarachi beats. But I don't think that is going to happen.
