Don't You Have A Page Saying What Doggystyle Sampled, And Why The Sam Sneed Skit Is in There (It's From The Movie Supafly?)
-
ohh yeah that.. i dont if know the sam sneed is from anywhere.. all i have down is the background music.
the opening skit was from supafly. but ya right.. that skit was sam's idea...

just a quick couple of comments about sam. it is GREAT to see him back, considering he was closer to death than a lot of people know. sam got a lot of financial help from a lot of artists to help pay his medical bills (dre included), but other than that he has perservered and come back stronger than ever. i've always considered sam a very talented producer considering i knew who he was before the death row days. he and dre really hit it off around the time they created classic joints like natural born killaz and keep their heads ringin. unfortunately between dre leavin death row, suge fuckin sam over, and sam getting sick, everything seemed to fall apart on him. and yes suge has a ton of sam sneed produced tracks and solo joints. and yes he fucked sam over by not releasing an album or sam from his contract. so its great to see him back and back blowin tracks up. dre would love to sign him to a production deal w/aftermath but that probably won't happen for a while. in the meantime sam will keep producing for a lot of different people. peace.
-
Hey mellow man, whats up. Did Sam Sneed produce anything that was released before gettin down with Dre?
And ya, that would make a lot of peeps happy if he hooked up with DRE...
-

Huh, is it me or did Dre produce those "Natural Born Killaz" on his own?
-
I noticed that too, maybe Sam helped out in some way, i don't know. My homie has my MWTC cd right now, so i can't check. But i don't recall his name being listed in the production credits....
-
Sam Co-Produced Natural Born Killaz
-
Dude, I Think My Ears Tell Me That Sam Sneed Helped Produce Natural Born Killaz, I Think Ya Betta Recognize, Keep Their Heads Ringin, And Maybe Even Eastcoast Killa, Westcoast Killa. It Just Sounds Like Him. I Could Be Very Wrong, Though.
-
Sam was Dre's right hand man, much like Mellowman is now.
-
Sam Sneed did co-produce all them tracks back in the day. I check the credits, and Sam Sneed is a team playa, so the skit with Snoop doesn't surprise me.
-
u all need to check this song out.. its defintiley dope
-
This Sam Sneed new joint is banging, that beat sounds like it could be Dre no doubt.......those two made some incredible joinst back in the day...

Man, you just discovered that buttons can be pushed several times each or what? ? ?
Slow the fuck down :P

Sam Sneed is mad tight. Im not sure if you guys realize this but hes been in the game for a while. He worked with The Hit Squad (Erick Sermon And PMD) back in 1992. These are the tracks that Sam produced for K-Solo on his second album "Times Up"
K-Solo - I Can't Hold It Back
K-Solo - Premonition Of A Black Prisoner
K-Solo - Sneak Tip
K-Solo - Who's Killin' Who
K-Solo - Household Maid
K-Solo - King Of The Mountain
These tracks sound nothing like his current production style but they are still tight as fuck.
K-Solo was signed to Deathrow along with Sam Sneed so I'm curious to know if K-Solo recorded any tracks with Sam Sneed durning their time on Deathrow. Did K-Solo appear on Sam Sneeds unreleased Deathrow album? Just food for thought.
Anyone need these tracks, get at me... Heat!
