first of all, i like this song better than CA love, battlecat is tha mannoche. second of all all the verses are spit so precise it's ridiculous.
third of all Blood walking looks way harder than crip walking it's crazy. who is the crip c-walking next to quik b walking?
why no nate, jayo, or crooked? "Oh some of cali iz active.." eh, I don't get why snoop and daz sing hooks when they have butch and nate, and the vocoder.

its WC and DJ quik.
the videos in the history books.
-
in the behind the scenes dubcnn coverage of the vid,Quik says it reminded him of another video from like a decade ago...which was he talking about?

Wow you like this better than California Love?
-
video is fuckin' dope. personally i think the video/song is better then cali love as well, but i know that's my opinion, and it def. ain't the general 1, so i would never try and argue it. but i rather throw this track on, then cali love, and that's on the real.

hah, the CIA vid would have been complete with dre, nate, crooked and Jayo...had they all been together I really would have been convinced of the positivity of the current movement...but I guess if they were there the movement would be in as positive a place as they'd like us to think eh....
and i like it better than california love cause
a)ca love is so played out, i don't even enjoy it anymore
b)I never thought the beat was up to par with dre's other shit. too repetitive, too much flash and not enough texture. the roger songs sampled have been flipped a million times dre's not as tight of a rapper as anyone in CIA. i've just always felt CA love is mad overrated. perhaps with different drums and bass i woulda dug it moe. can't c me is a better dre beat, and battlecat's beat has a more melodic texture. i'll take those keyboard sprinkles in cia over the PE teacher whistle of CA love anyday.

so only if crooked, jayo, dre and nate showed up, then it would've been a movement? and for all the other rappers that did show up, their presence didnt make a difference?
Dogg, you had just about everyone from LA int hat video.
Snoop Dogg, Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, Battlecat, Julio G, Fred Wreck, DJ Quik, Ice Cube, WC, King Tee, Roscoe, Warren G, Too Short, Kam, Xzibit, Soopafly, Tyrese, MC Eiht, Mykestro, Glasses Malone, Bishop Lamont, J. Wells, Playa Hamm, Jelly Roll, Terrace Martin, Krondon, Dilated Peoples, Big Boy, JT the Bigga Figga, Daddy V, Crazy Toones, B-Real, Yo Yo, 1500, and so many more.
Crooked I and Jayo are minimal factors when you already have all those people there.
-
^ yep
Nate woulda been cool, but Jayo and Crooked are really not need when you got all them there
-
my words were: would have been convinced of the positivity of the current movement= in other words, crooked and jayo's presence would have indicated no beef (which isn't true, thus taking away from the positivity) and dre would have been a symbol of work ethic and quality control (also clearly not happening, thus taking away from the positivity). People like to talk to me like my thoughts aren't valid.

yeah and it's just tight to see nate with the dpg.

i wanted knoc-turn'al there.
-
Dre is most imporant for those who weren't there...but we raaarely see him, so I didn't expect him to be there at all. He probably doesn't like being around that crowd anymore, and some of the rappers there prolly woulda been buggin him about tracks.
But if Dre, Crook, and Jayo were there, I'm sure we woulda thought of 15 more rappers who weren't there that coulda been.

I wanted 2Pac

my post was before his, lol, but i did think of it when i seen it. it's just the case. we want it to be AMAZING, every1 from the west there, but it's not possible. i'm more angry, cus knoc's my fav. rapper, and he just seems to not do anything at all, especially the past year and a half or so.
-
oh, i wasn't dissing you homey. just pointing out. and yeah knoc is tight.
