Very interesting. I've always had a tendency to think that whenever I experience deja vu listening to a song, it's a mutual sample. But that one drum beat...stuck in my head for years, heard in so many songs now. Most important drum loop indeed...that's probably understating it.

I have an original 7" pressing of this record. It's called "Amen Brother". The name of the group is The Winstons. Don't remember the name of the label, but I can check if any of you want. I do remember that it's a powder blue color.
Who got deep crates? Yeah, thas right.

There's lots of shit like this in Hip Hop. Especially in old school shit, there seems like there was about 4 drum fills that were rehashed over and over.
But props for the knowledge.

Come to think of it I got rid of pretty much all of my copies one or two. I have OG pressings of all them records, so I figured I didn't really need them anymore.
