I think all of that is 'G-Funk" except the Ice-T track. Unless you mean the Warren G, G-Funk.
-
G-Funk is G-funk. Basically like the whole of the chronic. The bouncy'ness etc. Happy land thoughts and shit. Gangsta rap has base lines and generally about killin shit
-

Yeah, "Nigga Wit A Gun" is off "The Chronic." G-Funk=Gangsta Funk.
-
Like i said 'Basically' (doesn't mean all of)
G-''FUNK''
Not gangsta 'rap' There's a difference....Fool
-

Alright Brit..."A Niggaz Wit A Gun" isn't a song homie.
-
lol g-funk =gangsta rap ....lol
i don't know where you came up with how the chronic is a "happy land" album with tracks like:
The Chronic intro
Dre Day
The Day The Niggaz Took Over
Deeez Nuuuuts
lil ghetto boy
a nigga witta gun
rat tat tat tat
lyrical gangbang
high powered
stranded on death row
bitches ain't shit
that's basically the whole album give or take 3 or 4 cuts....i don't even think you've even heard the chronic if your going to say stupid shit like this....that's like saying "i can't feel nas becuase he lacks the lyrical skill of rappers such as ja rule and petey pablo"....straight dumb
next time you post try to hide your ignorance and unknowledge

5. -----
6. ummmm this was g-funk at it's peek
7. very g-funk

So are you saying that the songs i wrote down 'ARN'T' gangsta rap???? Surely 'Nothing but a G thang' is g-funk, where as Dogg Pound Gangstaz isn't. Again, Who am I (snoop) IS G-funk as opposed to Gangsta walk. surely you should be able to point out the difference 'Homie'. acting like a bitch. Gangsta rap has a lower and slower base line than the g-funk classics. (don't even get me onto tha G child, cuz no way can u put Always into something into tha same catagory as 'And Ya don't stop' Or even the classic Regulate. So sorry, 'PATNER'. The songs i said ain't at all g-funk. they gangsta rap, being rapping about murder and shit (in lamen's terms)
-
I think everything Dre/Warren & Death Row did from '92 to '96 was the traditional G-Funk music. Wether it was about "murder and shit" or not.
-
JUST REMEMBER WHO'S LANGUAGE YOUR SPEAKING!!! BITCH!!!
lol, sorry. just thought i'd add that.
-
again i emphasize that g-funk and gangsta rap are the exact same thing.....just like budweiser and coors are both beer
and your fucking hilarious "gangsta rap has a low bass line" ummmmmm i'm sorry but "what's my name" has one of the deepest bass lines and when you play it on bass guitar you play it on the deepest string.... and just about EVERY g-funk involves a deep bass line....also i consider dopeman a gangsta rap song but it doesn't have a deep bass line at all
-
Firstly warren G was the origionator of G-funk but suge tried to copy. with some success. But G-funk ain't the aggressive shit u find on the Chronic/doggystyle/dogg food. That's just pure gangsta rap. G-funk is the stuff u'd have playing whilst in the sun chillin out. But things like Dogg Pound gangstaz is too aggresive to be called G-funk (no way cud Funk be associated with Aggression, take Parliment and george clinton in concideration, Dunno why? just very tired what with it being 2:25am over here).

first of all dr. dre created g-funk waaaay before warren even knew how to flip a beat and the chronic and doggystyle are the 2 albums that put g-funk on the map/started g-funk
like i said stop showing your "unknowledge"

It's a good job u use ur lowest string. after all, the base on the song is superfied on the computer. or couldn't u tell??? it still ain't low tho.

Firstly how tha fuck did suge steal it.........He aint no artist or even a good producer...........
And if yur tellin me Dogg pound and westside connection aint gangsta rap then u deserve tha kick in tha nuts im bout 2 give u...........
-

superfied??
dude you obviously don't know what your talking about
-
just then i was thinking. oh well. i've lost the fight, but then i thought nah fuck it. i ain't i know exactly what i'm fucking talking about. it's you fucking bitches that know fuck all (btw this is my last post then i'm breakin outta this joint) just so happened that the next song that was playin on my mp3 playlist was a demo tape from 213 back BEFOR dre met snoop. and it just so happened that it was g-funk. and then i remembered that snoop said (in his Gogg father) that it was warren that came up with the beats. So really. it was warren g and snoop's voice (cuz he had a distinct style) that made up g-funk. and btw. fuck your view on saying nwa has some g-funk in it. HAS IS BOLLOX YOU FUCKING WANKER. i forget how stupid u american's are (well, most of u). ALL NWA (not recent stuff but really that ain't nwa anymore) is oldskool gangsta rap. Not g-fuck. And don't think that threatening me is gonna achieve anything cuz u miles aways and it ain't something i'm likely to loose sleep over. So I'm standin my grounds sayin that Warren G is the original g-funk producer. everyone know's he is anyway. How more g-funk could the album regulate be???? then there's G-funk era which speaks for itself.
And don't have goes at me with stuff like Superfied. when you lot think your black. And again, don't try say, 'yeah but what about your name' my name takes piss. Next your gonna say that Puff daddy is the ghost owner of Death Row and that Biggy and Pac were in a suicide pact. Anyway, this sucks dick. I'm out. Lol i can imagin this'll annoy you as u want to shout at me and my arragant ways. But now that i've said that ur gonna try and not let it. But wait now i've said that....OH MY GOD IT'S A FUCKING LOOP!!!! WHOA. ain't that clever from a brit. not really as we invented Sarcasm, Irony and Feciesiousness. (And don't try and say u know what Ironic mean, cuz after Alaniss morriset released her song us lot just laughed. cuz there's about 2 events in that song that are ironic. the rest are just sod's law.
I can imagin how much this is gonna annoy u cuz i'm off mainly cuz i'm talking shit ur not understanding. but from someone who's tired and stoned it makes all the more sense to me....cya later 'HOMIEZ'
-
lol your so dumb it makes me laugh
you obviously don't own the NWA albums:
100 miles and runnin'
efil4zaggin
and you obviously don't own "i want it all" where warren g says that dr. dre taught him how to produce and obviously havn't seen the article where it says that dr. dre was helping warren g every step of the way with regulate...the g funk era, warren g learned g-funk from dr. dre and big hutch , and dr. dre also taught big hutch how to produce (better) so your a fool for saying that....just go to www.allmusic.com or ask any hip hop head on earth and they'll tell you the same thing
and another thing...alanis morriseet is CANADIAN!
learn your fucking hip hop and then come back and make some INTELLEGENT posts...
-
G-Funk songs:
Always Into Something
Dre Day
Everything Dogg Pound or Snoop Dogg
Gangsta Rap:
Old school N.W.A., like Straight Outta Compton
Colors - Ice T
Most Ice Cube stuff, minus everything after It Was A Good Day and before Westside Connection
Bow Down is Gangsta Rap because...
Get this, G-Funk is gangsta rap, just a form or it. Kinda like how both Nas and Snoop Dogg or both rap, yet they are different, well G-Funk is the same as Gangsta Rap, only a part of it.
-
Dumbfuck, ur makin Europeans look bad............
Dont let tha door hit u on tha way out sunshine...........
-
damn brit dogg, you're just clowning yourself even more every post.
like jake said the only people who can be credited with starting G-Funk are Hutch or Dre. i wont get into an argument over who did it first so ill just say both of them. warren G came at least 2 years after.
and on the g-funk/gangsta rap thing. g-funk evolved from the original G rap of king tee, ice T etc. not all gangsta rap is g-funk, but all g-funk is gangsta rap, ya undadig what im sizzlin?
-
i'm sorry... i'm still laffin ;D
-
What a fuckin dumb ass...thanks for kinda backin me up y'all. :)
-
JUST REMEMBER WHO'S LANGUAGE YOUR SPEAKING!!! BITCH!!!
