Yo, how i was just listening 2 some songs and I've been noticing a lot recently, that I keep hearing songs that sound like I've heard them b4. Here's a couple of examples:
"Psst" by Snoop Dogg f. Jamie Foxx
VS
"Play" by David Banner
"Show Me What You Got" by Jay-Z
VS
"Friday" by Ice Cube
"Round Here" by Snoop Dogg
VS
"Stan" by Eminem
"Fuk'n'ass Hoz" by DoggPound
VS
"Dirt Off Your Shoulder" by Jay-Z
And so on, and so on.... Most of them sound the same cause they use the sample, but damn, sometimes it feels weird listening to these songs cause they sound like something else... Any other songs like that, any1 know?

I understand that "Stan" was used as a sample or whatever, but I honestly don't even think or notice anything about it in "Round Here"

if not for dre's piano keys later in the song, it would be all too apparent but andre is a master of subtelty.
I feel you picasso
Let there be light-Nas
vs
Staring at the world through my rearview-2pac
for example
and all the songs that sample Isaac hayes the look of love remind me of eachother.

"Stan" has that bass, without that bass I can just barely link the two.... I get it, but I just don't notice or even think of "Stan" like others do

I often feel the guitar sample is unnecessary, dre could have just used those two chords without the actual sample from 'thank you' it's the guitar being plucked to the actual notes that reminds me of stan, not the chords themselves.

yea I know what you're sayin, I can relate the two for sure, but to think about "Stan" while listening to anything Snoop Dogg is ridiculous
