Title: Warzone's weakness...
Post by: Wild_Elmo on February 01, 2007, 09:10:54 PM
....is their production. Out of all the songs they have, I haven't heard one hard beat. I hope Snoop isn't producing all their shit because it's going to be super wack

weakness is that they dont have chemistry ....other than Kam's lyrics the only good thing of the group is Mc Eith's "GEAH!!!'

As a group they're weak. Fuck em. Like someone said, no chemistry whatsoever.

"Take It Or Leave It", was a good beat IMO.
But yeah, I don't really care for this group, Western Union>>Warzone all day.

It depends on who will be chosen to do the beats. Warzone needs some hard hitting production like I said in a previous post. A producer like Daz would be good for their style. The chemistry I am not worried about, That Shaccled Up song is hard as fuck, but the beat did not match the lyrics.

Here's the issue from how I see it - Western Union sound like a group together. There's a chemistry there.

Warzone, on the other hand, sounds like the gangsta rap equivilent of a manufactured boy band. Snoop's put them together and sais 'do your thing' without anyone realising there's no cohesion there.

I'd buy a Western Union album on the strength of "Like This" alone. I wouldn't touch a Warzone CD based on anything I've heard so far.

And warzone only really has 1 way of doing a track and that is gangsta. Westurn Union has more versatile rappers that can do a smooth song or a hard hitting track. I'd would like to hear Westurn Union over some DJ Quik production.

production, goldie loc, and the name is way over the top

its funny, these guys probably browse around here and we probably sound like the nerdiest bitches ever.  what mostly everybody says is true though.

kam should drop that group and join up with concrete criminals or something.

i dont think warzone is gonna work they dont have no chemistry there like the yankees i mean theyll problaby get better westurn union have it there like the 3-peat lakers

I hope I am wrong about this but I just do not see Warzone having the opportunity to work with some big name producers in Snoop's camp. Like Tha Eastsidaz had top notch beats on both albums and they did not have the greatest chemistry either. But I just have a feeling the beat are not going to knock.

tha eastsidaz had great chemistry. tray, goldie, snoop, butch, and Kokane with Battlecat/Meech? Oooeee, that shit was dank.

It was good chemistry, but the 1st album from Tha Eastisdaz had ALOT of guests. The 2nd album was a better representation of the chemistry between Goldie Loc and Tray Dee. Even with their albums they had Battlecat and Meech. Sure would be nice to have them on the Warzone project as well.

I at first thought that group was Snoop, Goldie, Butch and Tray Dee. Either way it flowed well for all of the guests on the record.

In my opinion, there are three super-dope rappers, but the beats by Snoop are mostly just boring. I dunno why he isn't realizing that he's no cool producer. Somebody gotta tell him that. "Don't Stop" is a cool song, not great, but i like it sometimes. But "Jail Time" ain't cool, the beats is just wack... We'll see, I don't expect something fro Big Squezze, but I hope the group projects are without "Niggawacki"...

Yeah, Snoop needs constructive criticism. Not a bunch of yes men saying everything that brotha do is golden. The majority of people are not feeling that Niggarachi shit.

Not feeling either group much at all...Warzone had the better apperance on the "Blue Carpet Treatment" though, but the problem with Warzone so far is that idea looks good on paper, but in reality it doesn't really work. The group has no chemistry as stated before and the production so far has been horrible...Goldie Loc is actually not a bad producer himself...I would like to see what he could do on the boards as far as producing for the group is concerned, but a full album by this group isn't going to be good based off the traccs so far...These 3 don't belong together in a group, maybe a decent fit as guest features for their own individual projects  :-\
