I was listening to Hen N Buddah last night this is my favorite Snoop joint after he left Death Row, actually sounds kinda like something from the Death Row days but updated, beat by Dre is :o, and Kokane definitely murders this, classic track 5/5
-
I must be the only muthafucker who doesn't like that track - I prefer True Lies instead.
-
Yes, "Hennesey N Buddah" is a 5/5 track, loved it from the first listening.
Another track I loved from the beginning was "Buck 'Em", that's a raw track.
-
buck em with hennessey & buddah a close #2
-
henn & budd no doubt is a 5/5 track. but i'm gonna have to say lay low.
-
Ya'll Gone Miss Me

Well this is tuff becuase technacly since his career has been so long now the his debut on death row is like a little dot on the road as to 6 years ago he dint have many more albums out.
Last meal is my favorite record so i would pick a song from there. Actualy its the last Snopp record i bought.
-
Henessy * Buddah is probably his best. I also think Imagine should be up there.
-

The Last Meal was 100% the best shit Snoop came up with after Doggystyle and Doggfather...
5 best after Death Row Snoop songs:
1. Hennessey and Buddah
2. Bitch Please
3. Go Away
4. Just Dippin
5. Pimp Slapp'd
-
Hennessey N Budda is definitely snoops best song post Death Row. The beat, the flow everything is on point. One of the most amazing Dre produced records ever.
-
GO AWAY ISSUES BUCK EM MY HEAT GOES BOOM HE GOT SOME HOT ASS SHIT WHO DID THE BEAT FOR STILL A G THING THAT SHIT WAS PRETTY HOT AS WELL
-

Ya'll Gone Miss Me
I thought of that when I saw the topic title...
-
"Bitch Please" is definitely the track that brought him back.
No suprise, it was Dre that made Snoop dope again. Also, the other two Dre songs on that Top Dogg album were bangers, "Buck Um" and "Dippin". Dre also supplied the biggest banger on Last Meal which was "Lay Low".
After the Topp Dogg album, Snoop remained on top for about 2 years, his work on the first Eastsidaz album was also some of his best post-death row work.
Then ofcourse, I stopped listening to Snoop once he started seeking outside production from people like the Neptunes.
btw, don't forget Snoop did have some nice tracks during that No Limit 98 phase, like his "Snoop Dogg" cut on the I Got The Hookup soundtrack, and the joint with Kurupt on the "Caught Up" soundtrack.
-
^^^^^^^^^^^
I forgot about Caught Up, that was dope. Bitch Please was great too, but Snoop's lyrics were atrocious.
-
There's sooooo many, but I gotta go with "My Heat Goes Boom". Damn that beat is just off the charts, and Snoop was a monster on that cut. I love it!
"Look here, fool...I know this game in & out/
And quit tryin to tell me bout them niggas down south/
Don't try to slide with that "westside love" shit/
That dub shit/
Eat a dick bitch/"
-
Bitch Please easy. As for other songs that weren't really his own, I'd say "G'd Up".
Drop it like it's hot is the dopest club track he's done since then.
