Shit this is hard to remember. I don't exactly, but when I was like 7 I was aware of Dre & Snoop as rappers, I seen them on mtv. Same with 2Pac, I always saw him on MTV. Never knew who he was.

and i cant really remember that well but i think the first person i heard was warren, back in 94. my cousin would always bump that in his car, and we watched one of his live performances on tv, i remember that, he was performin "this DJ" and he was wearin this golf hat. i cant remember on what it was though

This IS a tough ass question! I would have to say it's probably a 3 way tie between Slick Rick, Run-DMC, or Eazy's first album. It was around `88 when I started likin hip hop, and damn I miss those days.

I Listened To Fat Boys, Beastie Boys And them In 85, But Yall Know What My FIRST ACTUAL Tape Was, That I Owned? The Only Rap Tape My Parents Would Ever Buy Me (I Didn't Even Have A Tape Player, LOL).... For Christmas One Year, They Finally Broke Down, Bought Me A Walkman, And Vanilla Ice's "To The Extreme", And FUCK ALL YALL, That Album had Some Good Cuts On It, LOL. I Was About 13 By Then.
