Title: Any Damien Rice fans?

Such a good song writer...

Post by: Luke on February 08, 2007, 11:26:06 AM: O is by far a classic cd...its amazing in every way....so is his b-sides cd....the new cd 9 is very good....but different...it wasn't self produced like O was...he has a lot more instruments on the album which is cool but a little disappointing because i liked how simple O is...also the lyrics on 9 are kinda lame on some of the songs...there's one song (i think its elephant) where the chorus he just keeps singing about how horny he is...its kind of a bitch...thats the only song i don't really care for...

the thing that bums me out the most about 9 is that there are really no songs similar to the blowers daughter or eskimo or i remember. the closest one is the first song 9 crimes which is an absolutely amazing song w/ great lyrics.

anyways...check it out

also check out the 9 crimes single...it has a b-side called rat within the grain which didn't make the album but is an awesome song.
