Ill make my own "is it classic" thread... for this song, many people might say yes, others say no, others say this song alone brought back the west, Snoop himself says this song brought back the west, who knows... opinions...
My Opinion: Not Classic

this song alone brought back the west
hmmm...that's an interesting idea...it was a song that had the West back in the spotlight...
CLASSIC? The beat is IMO, but overall I'm going to have to say no.
-
Nah, It's Not. Matter Of Fact,Back In The Day when It Came Out (Before Some Of Yall Whippersnappers, Even), Everybody Was Clowning Snoop On His Lazy Flow In The Song.
-
Very Lazy... Awww Nawww Bigg Snoop Dogg... back up in the heezzy baby, you jocking my style you so crazy.....
that line there shows its snoop's style... which ive grown to respect....

the beat is a classic hell yea it showed dre back to his best
But as for snoops flow it was just avarge
xzibit ripped it and nate dogg did to
so it isnt classic but its overlly dope
-
Dope but not Classic

Lol

Like yall said, it put tha west back on tha map, i think thats enough to make it a classic
-
Snoop's flow probably prevents it from being a classic
-
i'll go against the grain and say it's a classic ,that Dre beat and xzibit's verse is hella nice , plus it's got nate dogg...what more can you want?? lol
-
It's Got a Flow So Lazy, Eminem Made Fun Of It. Thank Abotu It. I Mean, It's His STyle, So I Ain't Gonna Knock It, But You Know How Dre Sounds KINDA Stupid On Some Of The Tracks On 2001, And Em Made Fun Of It, On His Promo Sampler? That's Hilarious. Snoop Had The Lazy Flow, And Dre Had The Thug Kinda Flow, So Em Ripped On Both Of His Friends And Got Away With It, LOL.
-
I love the beat... but I think i like part 2 better... simply because Snoop did indeed sound kinda lazy on it... Xzibit ripped it... and i still like the song... but i dunno... not as much as some heads i guess.
-
its a great song, and an important one:
Wouldnt say it brought the west back (we never went nowhere!) but it got it back in the spotlight.
Got snoop some of his true west coast fans back after that awful Da Game album.
Was the first big song to bring in the the new Dre 2001 era.
Introduced Xzibit to a lot of people who had been sleepin, and oh boy he ripped that song.
what the fuck ill call it a classic, even tho Snoop kicked one of his worst verses ever lol
-
I remember when me & my friend first got our hands on No Limit Top Dogg CD and put it in my stereo and listened to the first 5-6 songs we were like DAMN! When we got to Bitch Please we were almost crying.... Damn, Snoop the motherfuckin Dogg was back.. Some o yall sayin it aint classic.... It changed the whole industry! If that song would flop who knows where Snoop & Xzibit & DPG were now?!?!
That song is a sleeping classic, thats what I think....
-
its a straight classic to me,
... Awww Nawww Bigg Snoop Dogg... back up in the heezzy baby, you jocking my style you so crazy.....
thats a classic line, but its lazy, even lazier than nate doggs singin', but its still tight.
i think this is on my top5 favorite snoop songs..
-
I SAY THIS SONG IS A CLASSIC.
1. Dre returns with Snoop & Nate, return of WC hip-hop
2. Beat is 5/5...str8 ill shit
3. Xzibit opening verse made me shit in my pants
4. Snoops makes up for his crazy hook
5. Nate tops the fucker off with one of his dopest lines...
"Ayoo...Ayooo, Ayoo...you don't wanna fuck wit me, still claiming DPG...till the day I D-I-E."
-
Most of people say that Snoop never gets back to his Doggystyle flow. But why we quote him so frequently? Why we can recall thousands of his lines then? Why we know alotta his songs by heart?
SNOOP IS A MAGICIAN, AND BITCH PLEASE IS A SAMPLE OF HIS MAGIC
-
Nah...
-
Classic.
-
The eminem album version was better in my opinion ...
-

-
The eminem album version was better in my opinion ...
i agree!!! but i must say the beat was dope..but if u look at the song on the whole..it doesnt deserve to be a classic..
-
It put Snoop back on the map and introduced the world (aside from underground hip hop heads) to XZibit. A classic? Yup!
-
yeah classic fo sure
b please 1 was more a gangsta anthem
b please ii is more a party track
-
B Please is most def a classic...It put the West Coast back on the map, brought Snoop a much needed hit, and introduced Xzibit to the mainstream...The beat is just sick and Nate does his thing as usual...As for Snoop's lazy flow I'm not a fan of it, but on this song it fit perfectly next to Xzibit's battle raps...This song is definitely a 5/5...
-
hmmm hard...but yea classic
-{bLaDe}
-
its a really tight song but.. its not really classic to me
