I watched 6 hours of Miami Ink when I went to Niagara Falls in the summer. My sister in law went to Miami for a dance competition in September and they went to Miami Ink. For a drop in fee is $1,000\ Hour. To be on the show you have to send in audition tapes and then pay around $1,000\ Hour too. I think that Ami and his gang are cool, but I have a friend in the Fraser Valley that will tattoo me for $125\ Hour, and hes really good too. The next tattoo I'm gettin is gonna be Polynesian. My dad is from Fiji and his heritage is to get meaningful tattoos. My bro has totally borken that by getting dragons and skulls and fire. I have one that is a cross with my dads initials(he died 13 years ago). I'm getting Polynesian style with some things that have to do with my wife, my heritage, and my friends. Later I will add stuff for my kids when I have them. Anybody wanna post their tattoos?

I don't have the desire to get a tattoo at all, but that show is really great. The customers and their motivations behind getting the tattoos are interesting.

1000$ an hour? my tattoo artist has won numerous competitions around Europe and he charges 120$ an hour if you got a scheduled appointment. y´all can check out some of his work at www.circletattoo.com and check under Circle´s section on the site.
