Title: Do you think Chamillionaire went too 'mainstream' with this first single?
Post by: proverbs aka DD on February 11, 2007, 03:35:07 PM
I live in Houston and they be playing "Not A Criminal" over and over.

i listen to the lyrics and it really seems like he is into name dropping, record sales and money.. The lyrics almost dont make relevance to the chorus.. The beat is alright and his flow is on point as usual.

What do you all think about the single?

Song is nothing special. Its obvious hes going for the big numbers with this track and he'll probably achieve that.

Beat is weak, flow is dope, lyrics are meh but which club single aint got weak lyrics and the chours catchy.

usually first single is a radio single so it could help sell the album, but the album is gonna have the harder joints on there
