I LISTENED TO THE BIG SQUEEZE THAT SHIT IS WACK AND ALL HIS SHIT IS MEDIOCRE I REALLY HAVENT HEARD ANYTHING GOOD SINCE THE YEAR 2001
-
yeah thats right he was dope until 2001, pdctbdb in 2002 was just ok, his collabos on eastsidaz 2003 unreleased shit was dope tho but thats it, i dont really think he will ever return unless he reinvent himself or come wit the real (not the one he came wit sayin it is) old gangsta shit and that aint possible cause money changed his mind, well thats what i think, i hope he make me eat my words one day... before he's 50

hes time is long gone man. so, nope.
-
i still support snoop because he's a good performer, i'd rather go see a show instead of buying his albums
-
Shit, the blue carpet treatment is RAW.
Better then a lot of shit he has done. 8)

What he said about performer, every now and again he makes a banger, not quite the ones back in the 90's but ones to make you think he still got a lil bit of it, he won't return to what it was so we'll just keep him the way he is now.
I weren't feeling blue carpetment except for one or two tracks (like this!). There ain't another album already in the making is there?
-
Big Squeeze is a compilation with Snoop doing beats. I'm sure he raps on a couple of tracks but yeah if you are going off of that, then I guess he should stop producing. As far as solo albums, he still puts out quality material, he justs ventures out and tries new things on every album now. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't work.
-
The big Squeeze was wack as fuck. Aint no denying that. But i still support Snoop as a artist.
-
The real Big Squeeze ain't leaked so why you judge it?
-
Listen to "Think About It" of BCT if you want some old Snoop flow, he kills that track

Im talking about the advance

I blame Pharell, his black ass learned Snoop how to do women joint's....
I want the Snoop who was on the Doggystyle album...
-
I think Snoop has many different styles about him. I like the fact he has grown into a more complete mc over the years, and no different than a Jay Z or Ludacris or 50 Cent there are many different types of songs that Snoop does. He has fans of all those styles so at the end of the day people want different things. He tries to cater too much to one particular style but as long as he continues to make dope records and stay fresh with the ideas I support it.
-
You guys are all right. His last good song was " The Wash" and that was in 2001. 2000's "Tha last Meal" marked the end of an era.

you're a lil bit too late :D
Man Snoop's very tight for a mainstream artist!
-
i thought tbct was tight. but i do agree snoop ent the same, i think the only way we will get to see the old snoop is if he does an album just with dre
-
This thread title is a little misleading. If you are saying you want a certain style or record from Snoop you have not heard in a while then that is one thing, but as far as returning to the rap game, he ain't went nowhere. If consistently selling 2 million means you gone, then I am out of here. ;D
-
^^^^^ yea it was a little misleading btu i never heard the song u talking bout

What song you talkin about?
-
He won't be like in 1992, coz' then Doctor didn't have so much samples and that g-funk was one and only. Today Snoop isn't the same - Dre got a lot of samples and instruments, Snoop's goin' to the future, not to the past..

I LISTENED TO THE BIG SQUEEZE THAT SHIT IS WACK AND ALL HIS SHIT IS MEDIOCRE I REALLY HAVENT HEARD ANYTHING GOOD SINCE THE YEAR 2001
basically you are right
-
Impossible to return. Cuz no one will have the same style/attitude after 15 years of success in the game.
-
Hate it Or Love it Snoop Dogg is already there, so how can he return if he never left? But yeah Snoop could take over the Rap Game if he release an album full of songs like "Think About it"
-
I love "Round Here" it's sooo better than "Think About It", but it's only my opinion...

Round Here is dope, but Snoop hasn't flowed like he did on "Think About It" since the Death Row days
-
Some of y'all are on some revisionist history shit. Not feeling Snoop since 2001? So you're saying you were feeling Snoop's No Limit Album? Cuz I'd say every album he's done since them has been better than that.
-
the doggystlye snoop will never comeback so yall might as well get that out of some of yalls head..i liked the bct it i thought it was his best album since nolimt top dogg
-
AT THE TIME I WASNT FEELING THAT NO LIMIT SHIT BUT NOW MAN I THOUGHT HE WOULD DO BETTER ON HIS ON BUT GOD DAMN FUCK NIGGERACHI LET MEECH AND WARREN G PRODUCE A LITTLE FOR YOU BIG BANG ON EASTSIDAZ WAS TIGHT ASS FUCK I MEAN HE DOES HAVE COUPLE TRACKS ON BCT THAT ARE COOL BUT THATS IT A COUPLE 3-4 TRACKS REUNITE WITH KOKANE NATE DOGG AND PLEASE DROP PHARELL
-
Snoop have never been gone realy, TBCT is in my opinion his best record since tha last meal or ass good..
Saying Snoop dogg will ever return, he is never realy gone in the game .. The single " drop it like its hot" have sold 2* platinum in the USA.. First i thought "Thats that shit" was going into top ten.. but anyway look at the single " I vanna love you" its gonna be another gold or platinum hit...
TBCT is way better than Jay Z album KIngdom come, realy dont undestand why jay z is 2*platinum with that album now??
Hope that " round here" gonna be a top ten hit but i dont think so..
