it is, I 've saw people bring it up saying it's rare and unreleased and whatever, these people really need to start searching for vinyl
-
damn I don't think I ever heard Snoop rap that hard ever, he was killing it
-
thats' wut i was saying he killed it it sounded like old snoop that's why i posted it
-
This track is "Deep Cover" remix called "187um"...
-
...he killed it it sounded like old snoop...
That's because it's actually the young Snoop Doggy Dogg rapping back in '91. ;)
-
props never heard this.

no this track was recorded back in 95 around the time The Show Soundtrack was released from Def Jam. It appeared on a BSide on one of those singles. Its not the Snoop from 91 but the Snoop from Dogg Food/Doggfather era. It was a song recorded for the The Show Sdtk.. For whatever reason it didnt make the final cut.
-
oh also i think the remix of 187 appeared on Dr. Dres album "First Round Knoccout" but i also heard in later releases of Fuck with Dre Day Ep there was teh remix for this song as well..

Wrong. This was the b-side to the original Deep Cover. It's called 187. It's also the last track on the Deep Cover Soundtrack, which I bought years before The Show came out.
-
I think this had to be made about the time the original Deep Cover was recorded, or a little after that, either way Snoop's rapping on this reminds me more of a young Kurupt with his delivery :o

Nope, I was wrong as to what album it came out on but it did come out in 1995 on the One Million Strong Album which was a various artist release on Solar records and it had the original track of Runnin by 2pac and biggie that was first recorded. The One Million Strong album was released in 1995. Couldnt remember what album it was so I thought it was the Show sdtk but now i remember it was the One Million Strong album.

he sounds sincerely mad at the cops that busted him here, that's why it's so fired up, have loved this track for years, better than the original.

That's the Dre Day single from 1992.
Wasn't Solar Records the label Death Row was going to be under but Eazy and his layers stopped them or something?

Look. It may be on that album AS WELL but it was on Deep Cover first. A couple of people including myself have already told you that. I'm not gonna go and dig out my CDs but you can check it out for yourself.

They just re-used it for that One Million Strong compilation album.

It appeared on the 1992 CD-single of "Let Me Ride" by Snoop & Dr. Dre...
It was not on the first edition of the Deep Cover Soundtrack but was later put on as an extra track!
Dope, dope track...
-
I think Snoop n Dre recorded 2 versions of "Deep Cover" fo' "Deep Cover Soundtrack" -> "Deep Cover" and "187um", but only one of them was put on tha soundtrack. Then Dre released "187um" as b-side...
-
Didn't thiis just get reissued on Disc One of the Best Buy version of "15 Years On Death Row"

Read the deep cover story in detail in snoop's 'tha doggfather' book and while I could be mistaken, I read nothing that leads me to believe this is true. pretty sure it was from the chronic sessions, intended as a B-side style remix of deep cover.

I used to have the Dre Day EP with 187um on the b-side along with Puffin' on blunts and drinking tanqueray and the instrumental. That was one hard assed ep.
