He was a guest at school today, talked about his history, did not go too much into detail on how NWA started, really reiterated things I already knew, things i didnt know is that he produced "Supersonic" and now with the fergie song "Fergelicious" he gets 50% royalties off his sample used on that track, and he owns a graphics/Video game company and designed the simpson games and various commercials and games for Nickolodean and Movies. He also gave a theory about Eazy E's death that I thought was interesting, he said that he doesnt believe Eazy E died of AIDS, he said he could have, because Eazy E did sleep with more women than Wilt Chamberlain In his opinion, but that he believes that someone was after his money and the label's money and when someone wants some money that much, they'll do anything to get it, and he believes that the person responsible wanted to get the label and DID get the label. he also talked about Jerry Heller and how he burned all of them by not telling them about publishing money and he kept telling them that "he was holding that money to make the company stronger" ...and he was the only NWA member to successfully sue Jerry Heller, and that Jerry Heller's book is full of lies.
Yeah, I wasnt that in-dept with all the background of NWA, but it was interesting, he's a great story teller, hope u all liked that.

Looks like Arabian Prince did well after all. He should write a book.
To me i will always remember him as that guy on the NWA covers with the 80's haircuts, clothes and doing those DJ vocals over electro beats.
Dr Dre should remix that classic Panic Zone track and get Arabian Prince to do those heavy devil style vocals again.

he says he still tours doing all that Electro-Funk stuff out in europe, he just came back as a matter of fact. he said thats how he got his start in music, Dj'ing and producing all that.
He also touched on Dre for a little bit, how he and dre were close and how they drove all the way to rialto to go see JJfad (the supersonic girls) and they were tired of being broke and wanted to be big like every other music act, so they formed a group.

DRE IN RIALTO? My hoooometown that's so dope. but for the record, the drive from compton to rialto couldn't be more than two hours.
wait, why did they drive to rialto? when they discovered them or in order to work with them or what?
also, how does he think eazy died then? he thinks the AIDs was given to him or what?

the MI in LA, Ecrazy?
I go to Cal State San Bernardino. Saul Williams came last year and performed. I found out too late to get tickets and though he's dope he's not one of my faves or anything.
yeah, I've never heard that song fergalicious, i'm assuming it samples supersonic? so dre and yella produced that together or that was just yella?

Yes the MI in LA....other bands and groups have visited - Atreyu recently, and other big bands and artists, i cant think of them right now, its a music school in hollywood, come on now!! lol....
and who said anything about Dre and Yella??!? Pay attention, you just failed, ARABIAN PRINCE produced the track, no one said anything about Dre or Yella anywhere....they had nothing to do with any Electrofunk tracks in NWA.

I meant to say Dre and Arabian prince. dre wasn't involved with the stuff arabian prince produced at all for N.W.A ?

so it is credited to dre, yella, and arab prince. also it's so dope that they're from the IE, that's hilarious. I wonder if that song didn't blow up as much as it feels like it did to me since I live in the IE. was that shit a hit everywhere in the 80's or what? I always thought it was one of those technodancehiphop club songs from the 80's like egyptian lover and all that shit. i always got the impression those were universally popular songs at some point.

He's a cool dude... I met him one night at The Century Club while my boy Rodney O was performing... He took turns with Joe Cooley ripping up the turn-tables that night...
He had a cool solo song in the very late 80's/early 90's called "She' Got A Big Ol' Posse" that they used to play on KDAY every so often..
-
^^^What yall know about Rodney O and Joe Cooley? I was bumpin some of their shit today in fact.
