I used to work at Foot Locker in Mall of America. I've seen it all. Those 2003 Jordans were ugly as hell with that mesh over the laces. I remember one kid at my school bought the 2000 Jordans. I think he threw out the shoes since they were disgusting. The only reason he bought them was because of the locking briefcase they came in.

Not just any Foot Locker though. The Foot Locker in the second or third biggest mall in the world. Everyone and their mama came to the store. But my manager worked at a Foot Locker in LA in the late 80s and with his connects, he got both the midwest mesh Jordans AND the west coast mesh. To me, they looked like a cheese grater. I'd rather wear a pair of Cortezs or Garnetts (not just because of Minnesota).

those shoes are straight. if they had an all-blue color theme instead of orange and green too theyd be tighter.
the early jordans were fresh, but somewhere in the middle they started lookin like rocket ships.
