i loved thier album "Ear to the Streets." filled with that bay bass, and great flow and lyrics.

yup.. the fonky expedition, one of the bay areas greatest anthems. the name of my radio show in college was called "The Fonky Expedition". I saw them perform awhile back with the Coup .

That is the best song on the album, I love that track. The production is crazy.
-
they had something tonight in the bay area, i remember seeing a myspace bulletin about them, that jam was the shit, even though for a while i thought it was opio and hiero, lol
-
Yea but they used to go around saying "We're the Conscious daughters but we're not conscious rappers" what was that about?

They had a dope song out at the time (We Roll Deep), I remember the vid for that one with Paris in it.
-
Their second album, Gamers, was tight too.
-
They were good, both albums were tight.
-
All I know about them is that they had a cut on 4-Tay's latest record, Gangsta Gumbo.

They are signed to Paris's Guerrilla Funk label and were supposed to drop their album "The Nutcracker Suite" 3rd quarter 2006 but apparently it was pushed back. Also they were featured on Public Enemy's "Rebirth of a Nation" project and also the "Hard Truth Soldiers" compilation which were both released on Guerrilla Funk on Mar 7, 06. That's all I know. :(
