Title: "Get in where you fit in" equal to "The Chronic"?
Post by: Tha_Blaq_Sinattra on February 17, 2007, 11:33:23 PM
"Get in" by Too Short was slappin front to back "Gotta get some lovin'" was next level. This album was one of the few albums that compared to "The Chronic" right after it came out- Along with "Enter the 36 chambers", "Midnight Marauders", "93 til infiniti", "Bizarre ride to the Pharcyde" and "Trendz" by Trendz of culture. "Get in" could possibly be better than "The Chronic", but those interludes on "The Chronic" of real people from the riots talking made "The Chronic" something really special.

One thing about "Get in" is Short held down most of the lyrics by himself except 1 or 2 songs.

Just like The Chronic is Dre's "dopest" album...Get In is definitely Too Short's "dopest" album

Personally I don't put any Hip Hop album above the Chronic.  When I was 10 it was the only tape I had,  I didn't even hear "Get In.." till I was like 14.
