Title: Thinking of buying a LCD TV for my 360 but...

...which one should I buy? Is it worth buying a TV that can handle 1920 - 1080 or is 1366 - 768 enough for playing on the Xbox 360?

You should definetly get a full had tv. It would be a waste of your money to buy a hd ready one. But i advise you to wait till the summer,
cuz the price are gonna get a lot cheaper this year.

I got a 32'' Acer HDTV 1366*768 or whatever, 360 looks really good on it. My tv supports up to 1080i (although supposedly the difference between 720p and 1080i to the human eye is barely visible, have no clue if thats true so don't hold me to it :D)

If you got the money you might as well go for one with 1920*1080 for 1080P support for HD and blu-ray movies. Might as well buy something that you won't want to replace in the next few years.

Yeah already got my eye on a Full HD Sony LCD cause I don't wanna spend money again on a tv in the next 6 years or so...
