Title: When Does The Wire Season 4 Come On DVD?

I just started using Ebay yesterday and I went crazy. I just copped Seasons 1-3, since I've only seen them scattered. But the Season I want is Season 4. Does anyone know when that shit comes out?

I just copped Oz Seasons 2-5, too. I just need the Sixth season now. Gotta get Curb Your Enthusiasm and I'll be cool for a while.

I don't think they've announced when they're droppin season 4 yet. You won't be dissapointed with season 1-3 though. It's a very good show. I've been meaning to get them on DVD. How much you get them for, if you don't mind me asking.

I got em for 130. I didn't think it was too bad. I had been searching for them seperate and found them for like 45 and up each, so I was able to score them together for 130.

I'm bidding on Curb Your Enthusiasm right now, Seasons 1-5. I hope I win that.

For some reason, The Wire dvds takes a long ass time to come out...you probably gonna have to wait like 7-8 months or longer imo...

I just finished watching Season 3 on DVD. The Wire is 100% quality. No show can top this one (although The West Wing comes extremely close in my opinion).
Season 4 won't probably come out until the 4th quarter of 2007 or early 2008. If I can recall correctly, it took about a year to release Season 3 on DVD after the last episode had been aired in the US. So yeah...I wouldn't count on seeing Season 4 in stores anytime soon.

On a serious note: The Shield is indeed a good show too, but I don't see how it's better than The Wire. TW has got better character development, better plotlines, more depth, better dialogues, etc...

I mean, I like The Shield a lot, but in my opinion it's not up for comparison with The Wire.

yup thte shield aint even touchin the wire. the wire storyline and characters are so much more complex than the shield. the actors in the shield suck too.
