Dubcnn recently hooked up with New York producer Frequency for an exclusive interview. Over the recent years, the up and coming producer has laced an array of underground and mainstream artists including; Wordsworth, El Da Sensai, Raekwon, Camron, Masta Ace and most recently Snoop Dogg on the acclaimed Blue Carpet Treatment track "Think About It." We discuss how that track came about and how Snoop felt he brought the best out of him, as well as Dr. Dre's reaction to the record. We also talk about his production collaborations, inspirations, studio equipment, and projects in the pipeline.
FREQUENCY Interview (February 07)
Enjoy the interview, and look out for a Dubcnn exclusive "Think About It Remix" produced by Frequency himself.

nice interview , hope for more Snoop songs with him in the future

Props on the interview. Dude got beats for days. Of course Snoops flow made "Think About It" what it was, but the beat was the shit too. The Rae and Cam joints on his MySpace are sick too.
-
dope, anybody who can get Snoop to flow like that again deserves props in my book
-
yeah hes dope young talent. In the pipeline hes got projects with Ras Kass, Red Cafe, OC and AG (DITC), Raheem DeVaughn, Stack Bundles, and the Bad Boy Records camp.
-
dope interview, props man!
-
“Think About It” so special – the arrangement is so thick and entrancing that the second you add Snoop’s vocals you get drawn inside.
Exactly.
This producer gets enuff respect for dropping that dope track for Snoop to flip out on some Shiznit shit.
Looking forward to hearing that remix shit is gonna be bannanas.
