Both are super duper dope IMO!.. But I gotta go with Reflection Eternal, it got more "stand-out" tracks or what you call them.. Kweli over a Hi-Tek beat = DOPENESS
-
Reflection Eternal without a doubt ... production is way more solid and fresh imo; I skip less tracks on it than on Black Star which is overrated imo.. plus as you said it's HI Tek and Kweli from the Natti... classic shit
-
Can't choose :-X
-
Oh, I picked the wrong one in that poll. It's all confusing ???
I meant to choose Blackstar, that album really does have some classic joints on it! Train of Thought was really nice too though, but Blackstar impressed me more.
-
Pretty hard to choose which one but I think Reflection Eternal cause of a few songs does it for me. Black Star is so dope too though so I dunno.. I went with Reflection Eternal though..
-
I pick Reflection Eternal. I probably would've chose Black Star if it had more songs on it. Everytime i listen to Black Star it seems like that albums over in like 20 minutes.
-
Both albums are dope but I think Black Star is better.
-
Both very good albums but I gotta go with Reflection Eternal. That's one of my favorite albums of all time.
-
whatever happened to mr. man?
that black star album is a good chick album

yea, Black Star had some greats ones but overall isn't as strong as RE
-
i went with reflection eternal but mos def's verse on "thieves in the night" is one of the sickest verses i have ever heard in my life!
-
Both albums are dope but I think Black Star is better.
Those diamonds on Nas's chain better not be blood diamonts. He spoke out against that shit, and if they are, he's a bitch
-
Bringin back sweet memories........Reflection Eternal.
-
That's like comparing Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth's first two albums - first one (in this case "Black Star") has classic standout joints, but the second one is a lil' better overall album - that's why I can't really choose.
But Blackstar is one of the albums that put me onto East Coast Hip-Hop (matter of fact "Mecca And The Soul Brother" is one of those albums too), so that gives it a slight edge
-
Although I feel the both groups Reflection Eternal seems more "me" :)
-
Black Star for me, was just so fresh to me first time I heard it. Train of Thought is still an amazing album though.
