Title: Clinton Wayne
Post by: CRAFTY on February 25, 2007, 05:13:12 AM
Anyone else who really digs this guy's music? Both of his mixtapes (Tsoul Ghetto and Regal Muzik) consist of quality West Coast hip-hop. It's album material, really. Plus, the fact that F Major produces the majority of the tracks is even better...I like dude's sound. Something fresh for the West.

I was just curious to know who on this board is also feeling Clinton Wayne. I can't even explain how good it feels to finally hear a rapper from the West Coast who does NOT talk about gangbanging, slinging drugs, pimping women, etc...The fact that he doesn't curse in his records, is something cool to hear too. Not that cursing bothers me, but still...it's cool to see that he's got the guts to do it. A lot of rappers nowadays would be scared of doing that in fear of 'selling out'.

Just wanted to share that with WCC 8)

I can't wait to hear Voice of the Penitentiary...

Clinton is ridiculously dope, anyone sleeping on him is, quite frankly, an idiot! he's got good production, lyrics and flow...dude just needs to get recognised and pushed in the right way! people need to stop sleeping on talented artists that are vying to break through...its only the ignorance of the listening public that prevents it...

Props on the post and for recognising real talent!
