To every real head up in here, y'all gotta check GURU's new LP, Balhead Slick And The Click. It's 19 joints of pure lyrical and production fire, I'm serious. It's a MASTERPIECE, y'all. I can honestly say that it's refreshing when compared to the stagnant Hip Hop droppin nowadays (Ja Rule, Nelly...). Producers did an excellent job, cats like Premier, Alchemist, Pete Rock among others. Plus the cd has a whole lot of tight-ass-hungry-ass-ready-to-spit-ass underground lyricists. ANYBODY who ever bought a GANGSTARR album should OWN this, fo' real. This is close to being the best release I've bought this year, no question...

damn!... that shit sounds hot.. Guru's one of my favourite Mc's... i can't wait to cop this shit... thanks for the info Riviera
Peace

Theres too many guest appearances on it. The production is hot though, and Guru comes nice, but it does have filler.
However, it has me anticipating the new Gang Starr LP like crazy.

That CD is very easy to find... It's in EVERYWHERE. I live in Brooklyn but I bought it in a little fucked up suburban town outside Philly and that's an underground release! So y'all can find it in every major... Check www.sohh.com, cats over there even have a thread (a VERY positive thread) about this LP. It's sick! Forget dope lyrics (coz it's OBVIOUS), PRODUCTION IS TOP NOTCH. Straight hardcore beats, no bullshit (and no jazzy stuff for those who don't like it). By the way, a lot of new beatmakers are dope as fuck: DJ Spinna, Divine, DJ Roach, PF Cuttin among others (NAS should use cats like that for Stillmatic, I swear...) Plus veterans like Primo, Alchemist, Pete Rock and The Committe all came out with bangers. I'm so impressed by that shit. I been listenin' to it non-stop since I woke up today and it's 3pm! I could BEG y'all to BUY this album for ur own satisfaction, forget about downloading it (shit, Guru should send me a fuckin' check, I been givin' major props to his album all over the internet; that's how much I love it...). Peace y'all...

Does somebody have an ass fetish?

I got the cd, and i live in CAnada on the prairies, so it is everywhere. There are some amzing songs on there, and a lot of filler material too. It is a good buy though, i love Guru.

Good to see that Guru keeps bringin the real shit, while so many others take the easy way out. Nuff respect to the whole Gangstarr foundation (what's left of it), and let's hope this record at least goes gold, cause the man deserves it.

Yo, i hope u just playin or whateva coz u don't wanna start that kinda sarcastic shit with me... Keep it HIP HOP and HIP HOP STRICTLY, aaight?
-
I have to cop it, I heard a few tracks. I heard a track produced by Premo's brother. He's sick but he sounds like premo.

i have this lp...and it kinda dissapointed me...guru needs a solo joint which is STRICTLY solo....hes always got somebody on there....the jazzmatazz series was tight and this new joint is good but i wanna hear guru on his own for a change.
