Title: Black Hockey Players From 100 years ago?

Hockey..the whitest sport in America and the world...was played by a couple hundred black men in the early 1900's

they show a thing about it on Espn the other day. Its crazy, they were the first to let Goaltenders hit the ice...plus they have newspaper proof that they were the first to ever use the slapshot. they also played the game at a much faster pace.


fuck..in the most cases when they played white hockey teams...they'd roll on them.

Damm....that is crazy as hell to hear. I can see why they buried that DEEEEEEP in the history books...and I'm surprised somebody actually came out there with it. I am sure that some of them knew about it, but just kept their mouths shut on it.

i never heard about that, but i doesn't bother me, i like sports to be multi ethnical as possible. There are many black players in the NHL and most of them are real good, like bresher and iginla

theres been a few good black hockey players like in the last 10 years

I don't think so lol. I was reading in Sports Illustrated they just got their first latino driver this year.

I saw some story about a black NASCAR driver.  He looked like AC Green.   And remember Brad Daugherty from the Cavs?  He's into NASCAR pretty heavy I think.
