Here's the thread...I'm hoping to do this this week, so get you questions in here ASAP.... 8)

Ahh shit, hell yeah I got a couple:
What was the experience like working with Pac?
Big Thangs, any cool stories during that recording process?
Does he ever have the desire to come back and rap or produce and his thoughts on current Bay producers and the Hyphy movement
Let him know just like Dangerous Crew, he got alot of fans that want him to come back and continue to drop dope music and get back with Too $hort
That is all I can think of right now, if I can think of some more I'll post. Congrats Noncentz, you doing ya thing. You might need to do ya own website.
-
Do you think you've stepped your production up to meet the standards of current production?
Any plans for another album?
favorite beat you produced?
favorite producer?
-
What's the deal with the quality that Big Thangs was released in?? Any chance of a re-release with the audio fixed?
Where have you been? It seems like you fell off the face of the earth. Any plans on returning?
Do you still keep in touch with any of The Dangerous Crew (Goldy, father Dom, Short, Mr. Ill, Ant Diddley Dog, etc)???
Any unreleased material that was recorded during the "Dangerous Era" that you might be willing to leak?
How much unreleased material did Rappin Ron have when he passed? Any chance it will see the light of day?
Do you see a reunion with Spice 1 in the future? You and Spice were a lethal combination.
Also just let him know that myslef and a gang of others from this forum would LOVE to see him reunite for one more Dangerous Crew album/compolation.

Man, you puttin' in MAD work.Props for that 8)
Those were some great questions, here's something from me:
When you starrted producing, what were your influences back then?Who was your favourite producer back in the days when you took up producing?
I don't want this question to be of any disrespect to Shorty B's words, but I would like to ask Banks this:
Did Shorty B have bigger input in (some of) your productions than you?
Again, Noncentz, if you consider this question dissrespecting to any of the two, don't ask it
-
when you gonna get back on the full grind in the production game?
you and short need to drop some hot shit soon?
-
Ask him how did the song "Snoopafella" come about? Did he know about the J-Flexx and YGD version before?
-
How do you feel about the current state of the rap game...and where do you see it going from here?
What do you think about Barack Obama...do you think he'll be elected?
What artist would you wanna do a collabo album with, and why?
-
centz, you already contacted Banks about doing this?
also, if they can put his shit up quicker when Nima's not out of town he don't need a new website. he can just get more involved with this one.

Just waiting on the call back.......

^^ yeah in all honesty, shorty B seems to think musician=producer. the producer is the dude coordinating it all, which is prolly what banks was doing. Not to discredit shorty b AT ALL who clearly made great great musical contributions to the west coast.

Well,I Wouldn't discredit Ant Banks just because Shorty B said some shit. Both got a distinctive style that's easy to reckonize. But Shorty B has played keys, guitar and bass on numerous tracks, maybe he feels he should have been credited as a producer on those tracks?

You got the message.
I would compare Shorty B to Colin Wolfe. Colin was Dr.Dre's right hand for some of Dre's best productions (Niggaz4Life and The Chronic). Shorty B was Banks right hand for some of Banks best productions (Get in where you.. and Cocktales).
Don't get me wrong, Shorty B HAVE produced tracks, like most of the tracks on the Dangerous Crew album and the classic Too Short track Cocktales.

Questions For The ANT BANKS Interview
-you did most of the tracks on the NWA Straight Outta Compton tribute album, what was it like to remix such a important record like that?
-was you pleased with your work on that album?
-have any of the members of NWA commented your work on that album?
-you did some amazing tracks on MC Breed's Flatline, you have a good chemistry with him. What's up with him?
-what really went down between you and pooh?
-what's YOUR definition of a producer?
-Big Thangs was a good concept, bringing the Bay&LA together. Would u consider maybe do a follow up album with the"new west"artist out there?
-You did the classic debut for Spice 1,even got reviews by biased ass Source magazines (while Allen S. Gordon worked there, from oakland for those that don't know, works at murder dog now)that must been quite a shock at time?
They didn't exactly hand out good reviews for non-east coast artists around that time

Why did he left the rap game/producing in first place?
-
-what really went down between you and pooh?
Tha's exactly what I wanna know!! I know they squashed their beef because Banks was on Pooh's album "Fuckin With Dank 2001". But what happened back in the day?? I mean Short had a couple records aimed at him, Banks had his and even Goldy's had a shot, so what's up????
-
Has $hort ever contacted you about doing a whole album with you since leaving Oakland?
How did you come up, when did you start officially producing for the Crew?
You and Bad-N-Fluenze made some crazy tracks(Clowinin with the Crew, Pimp Style Gangstas etc). Has Ant Diddly ever reached out to you after Ron passed away?
With all this hyphy stuff going on, do you think the new sound of the Bay has lost focused and doesnt pay enough homage to the signature Bay sound that you and Shorty B created?
-
a track uniting the hyphy cats with the new west cats would extra dope, good thinkin raiders
props to all in thread.
has this interview been set up yet? like has contact been made with Banks yet?
forgot about that n.w.a tribute album....damn that shit was pretty dope I remember. anyone have the hook up on that?
