Title: I have witnessed the art of Hip Hop two days in a row...
Post by: QuietTruth on March 08, 2007, 02:48:36 PM
1 ) Yesterday in lunch niggas was havin' a break dance competition. Amazing.

2 ) Today madddd niggas was crowded around one table havin' a fresstyle/cipher battle. Couldn't believe it. All you heard was tons of people sayin' OoOoOh. Shit was fire. Nobody even broke that shit up. Til 2 minutes before lunch ended.

And than some nigga was rappin' Das Efx's Mic Checka and I was like 'Wordd?? That's that shit'. That took me by suprisie.

So I think people is startin' to get it. I think they really is.

Mindblowin' ain't it?

There used to be a breakdancing club at my high school. Only about 5-10 people were in it, but they would always be doing their thing durng school in the halls. The teachers actually encouraged it. Not too many freestyle battles around here though. Mainly because they always sucked.

i think its cuz most people are from farm countries or states, they dont get the exposure to any of this at all, i kinda feel bad for them too at times, they dont experience this on a regular basis
