I think this is a pretty fresh album for Snoop Dogg listeners interms of theme. I mean, in previous Snoop records he never aimed towards a certain topic for a whole album. I think with "Bones" we have a story line set with a certain errie mood. I think doing this soundtrack was great, and Snoop & Co's songs fit perfect into this theme. It's October, nearing Halloween etc. That's why I don't really like mix in production and things like that. I like a general flow, and the feel to this album has that. It's like the album tells a story from beginnin to end...I like that, not boring. I'm gonna review this CD.

Your typical Doggystyle compilatio: Snoop, Eastsidaz, The Angels, Butch, Nate, Kurupt, Rbx etc. All but two songs are people we heard of.

BUTCH CASSIDY comes tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight than a mothafucka on "Gangsta Wit It",i want BUTCH SOLO ALBUM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

O yee, what about Meech Wells?? Wasn't this supposed to be his album?? Not one Meech beat, man, I could imagine it too, one of his beats would fit perfect in the "Bones" sdtk. When the trackist first came out peeps had Meech under a few tracks. Where is he now?? LoL.
-
That's right INCOGNITO,i prefer 100 times MEECH to Battlecat and Fredwreck.
-
im not feelin him that much, he's a good producer but most of my favorite Kurupt/ Dogghouse songs were produced by Battlecat or Fredwreck. the only thing is that cat lacks n creativity
-
Battlecat iz the besst
-
BATTLECAT don't have Creativity
-
None of the Dogghouse producers have...Exept Jelly Roll.

ive made an observation about Battlecat recently:
does anyone else think this Lost Angels album he's producing entirely will be super-heated? i sure do. every track ive heard of theirs so far has been awesome. Its like he puts that extra effort into their shit because its his own project.
i thought his beats on the last eastsidaz were kinda dated, still good but i got the impression he just used some of his old unused beats for it. his new-style shit (eg Loud & Clear, Bounce Rock Golden State) sounds much fresher.
i also think BC's work on Bones was the best from all the producers used on there. Fred had some cool tracks, but I felt he was over-used.

If the Lost Angels album is all B.C. production, then that will be heat. The chances of that are close to 100%, all Lost Angel song so far have been ill, "We Keep it G" & "Lost Angels In The Sky." Both Ruffiano & King Lou are sick.
